Amazon Authority Website Journey to € 1000 a Day - 100% Outsourced

1. despite all the money invested in this project, how profitable is it right now?

2. What was the total cost to get to ~140 euro per day?

3. can you tell us a bit more about your system to get your backlinks created?

The investment is very small considering the revenues! I do not like to mention the money invested because I think the key of this game is the idea, that is, get into an industry with little competition and beat all competitors. For what I've now you need € 2000/3000K (initial investment) and the project produces over € 3500 per month! Now my expences are near to the 30% of my monthly earnings and I think is very lucrative.

In this kind of projects I think the problem aren't money to invest but the consistency of running the site each day, choose the right staff and obviously know the direction in which you are going (Seo + Content Marketing).

To get backlinks my assistant is sending guest posting requests and is building links in forums and blogs (nothing about spam).

brand citation mean what ? do you mean you mention your domain brand name just without anchor ? or what?

Yes, means I'm creating brand mentions without any link! Is just a test and in this month is giving 0 results, hope to see some improvements next month :)

I can't get anything to rank lol, I've tried doing this, what is your strategy to get links? For eg you said you download list from sem rush then you browse and email them all saying we review stuff, please link to us. What is your 'success rate'?

Well, in my opinion you need to change your way of thinking! This relationship "rank=backlinks" isn't true.
Seo isn't only about link building because you can build an unlimited number of backlinks but you still can't rank well.

There are a lot of parameters to be taken into account, first of all on-page Seo and content quality.
You can't get backlinks even if you contact 1000 webmasters a day if your contents are pure crap or simply useless.

You success rate depends directly from the quality of your contents, for this reason content is the basis of Seo.
My success rate is 1:4 (I get 1 guest post or simple backlink every 4 mails sended).

Hi again argan. When you applied for Amazon, you listed one of your websites, then you are auto approved to be an amazon affiliate right? What if you want to add new websites and have amazon items on them, do you need to inform amazon about your second or third website etc?

Also, when getting only the affiliate link from amazon, is it the long link? I can only select picture and then take the affiliate link from the html code. Is this the right way? I thought I missed something here.

Hey again argan, thanks for all your tips really helped me so far.
Another question, I built my site like:
www.xxx.com/brand/product
So incase we are talking about electronic shavers, brand is 'philips' or 'sony' and product is product review in this category.

I ordered about 20 articles for product reviews which are not targeting commercial keywords or any other keywords at all, just mostly product name and some few other generic keywords.

After reading your journey again I feel It is not so smart, and every article in my site even if it is just a review, should target some long tail keywords.

So my question is: Articles should be reviews or tuts, do you just stuff the keywords into the article logically?
For example "Electronic shaver Philip X12345" review may target kw's like "cheap philip electronic shaver" ?

How do you find commercial keywords with keywordtool.io ? I'am trying to look for 'cheap xxx' and 'xxx price' but can't really find good keywords.

Are you still targeting long tail keywords with 20 minimum searchs like you mentioned before?

How many long tail keywords you target in every article?
Do you target big keyword and also some long tail keywords in the same article?
When you "target" long tail keywords, how is that executed? like what keyword destiny/H-tags mentioning/bold etc?

So much questions, hope you will be able to answer them all, Thanks!

Hey,

I have noticed that you have a page in Italian language. Iam thinking about building a page in English, since my country does not have Amazon and it is too small. Do you think that there is already too much competition?

Which app have you used to find your niche and long tail words? Is market samurai OK for that?

Thanks!

Yes, you need top add your websites in your account settings because if your comissions are made by an "unknown" website they there can be problems :)
I'm using custom plugins to generate automatic banners/boxes using Amazon's APIs (pictures, descriptions, links etc).

You need to put your keywords in your text trying to make it 100% readable.
To find commercial keywords you need to find a product and then use keywordtool.io to get all long tails.

Your method 'cheap xxx' and 'xxx price' can be used with SemRush if you don't know which product to choose (for this Amazon and eBay are your best choices).
I'm trying to target all long tails available for every keyword because I think Google knows a topic based on user searches, for this my content will be the best for a certain topic.

I'm not targeting big keywords if Big means 5000+ Monthly Searches...and I'm using long tails every time I'm mentioning main keyword (in this way is less spammy).
In a "Electronic Shaver" content you will use this keyword 10/15 times (depending from the text lenght). Well every time you mention "Electronic Shaver" you can add "cheap", "professional and so on!
For this work you need smart copywriters :)

I tried Market Samurai and if you want my personal opinion I don't like it. I think your best friend is SemRush because for keyword research is simply the best tool.
Advice: don't buy subscribtion but try to find Seo accounts sharing services :)

There are many products where there is little competition (or at least less than average). You can find great opportunities, you only need to learn how to find them (SemRush).

Thanks to all of you guys for giving me my first 1000 thanks on BHW!

Hi Argan, can you suggest some of this sharing service, please? SemRush is really expensive indeed...

One more important question about silos and how you applied it to your projects.

You wrote that your wordpress permalinks are like this: /%postname%/

In this case, how can you create the silo structure, please?

For example, if I consider a videogames store, I could plan a silo strategy like this one:

1 gamestore.xxx/console 2 gamestore.xxx/console/playstation
3 gamestore.xxx/console/xbox
4 gamestore.xxx/console/pc
5 gamestore.xxx/console/playstation/best-playstation-war-games/halo-3
6 gamestore.xxx/console/playstation/best-playstation-mmorpg-games/zelda
7 gamestore.xxx/console/playstation/best-playstation-sport-games/gran-turismo-5

But if I use /%postname%/ permalink, I should have these URLs for single posts:

gamestore.xxx/halo-3
gamestore.xxx/zelda
gamestore.xxx/gran-turismo-5

Isn't it?

If yes, how can you connect these posts to their parent silos, please?

Thanks!

For sharing services you should search on the web. Actually I'm using a private network shared with friends :)

Your silo structure will be in the interlinking structure :)
Is better to have category in the permalink but you need to consider yout project.

I don't want to spread much link juice on my categories pages because my core business are single contents (articles).
You should think at your core business and if your categories pages are to convert, you should include them in your permalink :)

Thanks for answering again argan.
What do you define as commercial keywords? 'price' and 'cheap' keywords? What else

Articles are mostly product reviews and tutorials right? So reviews main kw is usually product name and some thing like review/cheap/price/best. Can you give me more examples for keywords of product reviews articles?

What is the minimum monthly search for main kw you look before writing an article?

This is a great start point to find good commercial intent keywords: http://nichehacks.com/buyer-keywords-list/
I don't have a template to choose keywords to target, few times are product names, other times generic product category.

I'm targeting low search volume keywords starting from 210 :)

I buy s.e.m. rush and m.o.z. pro montly subscriptions on fiverr for $5. Its a life saving.

Yeah, Fiverr is a good source where get this account sharing services :)

Great tip!

I have found free 30 days trial for SemRush :-) If anyone interested here is the link: http://www. jacobking.com/semrush-coupon

Thanks for your share, have you tried it? Works? :D

52 products shipped but there are other 65 to ship :)
Traffic growth is decreasing but orders and conversions are increasing.
Brand mentions are helping to spread the brand and trust around it, as well as a likely Seo effect not yet occurred.
For this, even if this strategy does not have great Seo effects, work is in any case useful to increase the trust around the brand :)

In fact, with this I can explain the increase in the average price for each product purchased (people trust more my "advices" , so my website is more believable).
Soon will publish month comparison graphs and stats :) Stay tuned!

Nice stats! Congrats on your record :-)

Iam still gathering motivation to finally start project like yours. How long do you think is needed to gain first Euros if I post 1 articlle a day? :) For the start Iam thinking of writing them by my self.

Do you think is it better to buy old or new domain name?

BTW: I havent completed SEM RUSH registration yet, but on the checkout page I seen that the first charge would be one month from registration so I guess it should work as it says :)

I have posted few slide on slideshare.net but google dont index my site.what to do ?

Congrats mate! Just a question, really sorry if this has been asked again or I am just blind (I did scan all the pages).
Did you make your site or buy from a service here?

Thanks!
