I think while it could use a little polishing up/rules set, this idea is good and we should not beat up W130SN's idea since, to be frank, the forum needs more out of the box thinking and implementation of those ideas. A huge quantity of Exec VIPs absolutely never contribute or sign in anymore.
That probably doesn't feel good to some reading, but only talking within your elite club doesn't help the forum and to those who say they wouldn't need money.....ha.....don't never say never. Right now we have an abundance of trolls and on the other hand people who feel like they wouldn't even get an online freshly baked cookie + pat on the back if they did contribute anything here.
Call it self centered of people all day long but case studies and tutorials take A LOT of work. So what's in it for them when we have stickies in the SEO section that are so old they are getting cob webs and it takes an act of Congress to move up here? I can't mention names, but this was demonstrated recently.
I'm not even saying its Execs fault, but the truth is as plain as daylight. People are just afraid to call it as they see it. Sure we made fun of the rep whores back then, but hey they contributed to get those shiny little points. Trust this.....plenty of BHW members are slick and if there was incentive the content would be flowing in.
Until then we will have some Q/A, trolling, and content shared by the Mother Teresa types who only have interest in helping people. Bunch of bologna if you ask me because "good will" only cuts it but so far with anyone. I like helping people and I have some friends here who are the majority in quality shares, but content sharing should have rewards beyond being kind.
