I'm new to Internet Marketing/Blogging. My friend said, the best way to monetize my blog is by using Google AdSense.

Why don't Facebook use AdSense? Don't you think they are missing the big chunk of money?

Different companies use different monetization methods. FB sells advertising as it's method and in essence, is competing with Adsense.

It is a pretty rare instance when you use a competitor as one of your income streams in business.

AdSense Takes around 35% of the profits I believe. Facebook has their own Ad Platform so they can keep 100% of their income. They also funnel their ad money through several countries to avoid paying taxes on it I believe.

yeah they takes around 32%-68% profit sharing basis. If you signup with adsense they show there terms about 68% revenue sharing basis

A spin on this is that up until very recently and going back almost 2 years. To use Facebook's proper advertising platform - you needed Google Chrome as it was the only supported browser.

Just a tidbit of info for ya'

Scritty

Because they have their own way to earn money and if FB lets adsense on it. FB ads is useless and they can't monetize.....
