It appears so. I have a subscription and I just tried and it failed with a similar message.
Seems like APIs stopped working.

On both Sunday morning and Monday morning WordAi had some issues with articles not being spun properly. Those issues were completely resolved earlier today and everything should be good to go. All support tickets should be responded to.

Exactly what I've been thinking! I can't find the logic in that. The price per word should be lower than the first paid batch, not higher. If the first 250k words cost $49.95 after that 250k words should be lower than $49.95 not higher. This is one thing that made me overthink my subscription as I was going over the limit every month. It's still a decent product and probably worth the money, it's just this "overcharging" that bothers me.

We can manually set any new account to $2 per 10,000 words immediately which would put it at exactly the same cost as the first 250k. If you plan on spinning more than 500k total words let us know and we can give you an even further discount.
If you have an existing account and want this to be the case just submit a support ticket and we can adjust this for you.

Now that sounds more like it! The thing is that I'm not sure if I'm going to be spinning more than 500k words EVERY month. Some may be way above, some below. Is there any compromise to that?

No matter what we can offer a $2 per 10,000 rate. If you think you'll go over 500k sometimes then we can set it up where you get a larger bulk discount on any month where you hit the 500k word limit and on other months you would still get the $2 per 10,000 discount.
Right now both WP Robot and WP RSS Aggregator have WordAi Plugins. We are also working on our own software for this. I don't want to say anything about it now, but it is something we are thinking about and working on as we are developing WordAi Version 4.
There are no discounts right now besides the $347/yr Turing Yearly Plan.
