Amazon Authority Website Journey to € 1000 a Day - 100% Outsourced

No point, argan. The 90 day cookie is completely pointless.

With the 24 hour cookie you get commission for ANYTHING customers buy within 24 hours. As you know..

However, the 90 day cookie doesn't work like that. What you probably do know is that you get a 90 day cookie when someone clicks 'add to cart', either on amazon, or directly on your site, but, what you very likely don't know is, that 90 day cookie is ONLY for the product(s) they added to cart. If they return in 50 days and then purchase those products in the cart, you get commission. If they return in 50 days and add new products. You don't.

Sucks. :) So there's really no advantage to using the 90 day cookie. A) like you said, you'll get less conversions because people aren't seeing the product information page first, and you won't get any other commissions past 24 hours anyway, so it's a lose/lose.

Interesting information to be honest. I was planning to make a website with on-cart functionalities which redirects directly to Amazon cart afterwards, but after reading this, I'm not sure what to do. Lol

Terrible idea tbh.

You don't want people to just check-out and go. Much better to send them to the amazon product pages where they're liable to buy other stuff.

Depending on the site a large % of your profits will come from people buying things that have absolutely nothing to do with what's on your site. If you limit to just adding to cart and force someone to buy/checkout your exact item or leave, you'll significantly reduce your profits.

Nice I have been reading most of your posts daily to get a better idea with this.
I hope I achieve the same or somewhat near to what you do.

Good Luck

How many backlinks do you have? Are they all from outreach?

And what are you using for finding keywords? Google Planner or a tool like longTailPro??

Well as I have told you my plan is to make categories that will be product brands like "Philips"/"Panasonic" incase we are talking about electric shavers in example and to have product reviews and related articles inside.
But during my keyword research I found alot of keywords that I want to target which are not related to specific products but more like generally about the products like "how to use electric shaver"

All you need to do is setup the site as you have mentioned, with silos as your brand names, then you just have a single category called "blog" or "articles" that you place on the menu alongside your brand name menu links. This is where you want to publish your how to stuff.

But wouldn't it hurt the Silo? Since you have about five categories of brand products and one single category of "random articles".
BTW how would you call this category?

I've seen quite a few siloed sites with a "news" "articles" "blog" category, and they often interlink to other pages in the silo as reference. Its not going to hurt anything though. Your main site structure will carry the weight, and google will only discover this as another relevant category on your pages. Will be interesting to hear what argan has to say about linking to other parts of the site from this category, but i would say it would look natural, and worth doing. It adds a fuzzy network factor into your site structure, so it doesn't look too robotic and algorithmically manipulative.

So I can't put this content under one of the categories because it is not related to a specific category, hope you got me.

I thought about creating two top categories: "Products" and "Blog" or something like that so silo will be like:
Root -> Products -> Panasonic -> Electric Shaver V5sx29 Panasonic
Root -> Blog -> How to use electric shaver

I don't like it because the top two categories are not related in any way and it looks bad in my opinion

Something like that but it doesn't look good enough for me. what do you think?

Well, the blog/tutorial idea isn't bad, usually contents like "How to use electric shaver" are supporting your homepage (your first silo).
If you'll use more than 4/5 contents like this, you can create another category where you put this kind of contents.

You need to understand which contents are your core business (I mean which ones gives you the real conversion).
In your example your core business is "Electric Shaver V5sx29 Panasonic" because I'm sure converts better than "How to use electric shaver".
That said, your core business have to be built in Silo structure, your supporting articles can be in a mixed category/section.

Now I'm near 800 backlinks from 100 referring domains (do follow, no follow, guest posts etc).
Actually I'm using SemRush + Moz + Keywordtool.io + Keyword Planner by Google! This is my "secret" recipe :)

Are you, Putting amazon buy link OR image ???
Its signal For weak keyword ???
That ban was fast :D

Hey man, I have been following your thread for a while and i've learned a lot. I did have a question though. How many affiliate links do you think is too many?

Currently I have about 15 affiliate links per ~1000 word article and i'm wondering if i should knock that down to 8-10.

Really motivating dude, if not wrong, what about the sites u earn 50 a day, have u followed the same process or a little painless job. If u share one of the strategies to that kinda websites, would be helpful for us.

Someone who can help me. Im building an authority site, but i could really use some help or a guy i could ask for help to some website building and SEO. Anyone who can give some quick answers.

this topic is a big motivation for me, keep it up!

Confirm that you already have a site developed with at least 20 articles?

I think the right question is not based on the length of the content but on the relationship between internal and external links.
If you've 10K words in one page but you have 50 external links vs 10 internal links, it's sure you have only a few interesting things in your site and suggest to visit the external sources (I think this is the right reasoning to do).

In my pages I've 15 affiliates links too, but I've more than 20 inner links pointing to internal contents.
It's all a question of balance and I think the length of the content is an urban legend (if you're targeting an exact keyword with a clear goal).

I'm preparing this project to make it last, so I'm working a lot harder in this journey!
I'm here to explain all only about my journey's website because is the best thing I ever done and I want to share it with you.

Quick answers produce quick bursts dude.
Try to study because to make the right questions you need to know a bit about Seo.

It took me years to get where I am and then I read that someone wants quick answers, sorry but your question is no-sense for me :)

this topic is a big motivation for me, keep it up!

Yeah, I'm doing my best to make this journey an explosive show :D

It really is a nice journey, so motivating. But u started your site in february and started to makre little money in mid May. So it takes a few month to see results. What motivated you?

And also, when you build the article, i read that you target a main keyword, then a few longtails. Do you use the longtails in h2 and h3? How mayn h2 and h2 tags do you have?

And if I understand this correct, you would link from other long tail keyword to your main keyword post that have long tail keyword. Internal linking. Is this right?

And last question, do you use page or posts? And what's the difference between that? I've done posts on my website all the time and learned that it's the best way for SEO.

You've been a member since 2011 and you don't know the answers to these questions? What have you been doing for 4 years?

I had a very simple, but still very important question. and wasnt able to post it because of BHW Moderation system. It blocks me everytime I want to post something. (there where no urls, swearing etc.)

BHW please understand, I'm not going to pay you 100$ just to be able to post on your forum. No way I will.

EDIT : and now it allows me to post this.. what a great anti spam system haha.

Let me try one more time:
How to create page that will support homepage silo? Is it enought to create new page, link it to the homepage, and link back from homepage to new page? (also, should we achieve this linking effect through navigation menu or content linking?)

This thread is awesome btw.
