Amazon Authority Website Journey to € 1000 a Day - 100% Outsourced

I didn't understand what you're trying to say, can explain more, please?

I mean cross-linking in the same silo :)

amazing job dude.. you are living my dream, Italy.. pro in affiliate marketing. I wish you all the best!

Thanks :) I'm dreaming too!

For long articles add this one:

Perfect place to add the long-tail keywords.

See how beautiful they are presented in the SERPs: (Search: Gandhi Early Life)

Don't forget to tell us how it went :P

Great plugin, really eyes catching :)

So arganrecords, this is how I pictured silo structure, is it correct?

View attachment 69633

Sorry for bad paint, I made it in 2 minutes, anyhow, for example, I have the category best TV as my main category, do I have to make every subcategory for every long tail I am aiming or can I simply just add some broader keywords and add posts under that subcategory?

Also, about link building, do you suggest to buy some package to kickstart the page or I should contact other webmasters, etc? I know which one is better, but I want to hear your opinion on this one.

PS. Forgot about homepage posts in my silo.jpg and good luck! :)

Yes, but you need to make a good cross-linking because as silo is good but internal linking in very important!
Don't buy packages, make hard work (at least at the beginning), only my little advice.

Hi, this is a great post indeed!

Do you use YOAST Seo in your website? If yes, how did you configured it, please?

Thanks, all the best!

Yes, I'm using it but configuration depends on your site's structure. So I do not index tags and archives for example, thus special situation changes according to your site.

Hi first of all thanks for the inspirational post. I am running a English blog which has over 1500 visits per day, and I am planning to start a news section to get more traffic and social shares. My question is how you find your news sources? My plan is use tools like BuzzSumo to find most shared content, then get someone to rewrite those for my site. Also do you pay news writer the same rate as pay review writer? As far as I know news don't have particular keywords to target as review/seo articles do, which means it is probably hard to get traffic by doing SEO. Correct me if I am wrong.
Thank your again for your great journey mate :)

Yeah, I'm paying less for news but a little 10%. I'm picking Amazon's categories and I'm doing keyword research to find all the best keywords for a product.
I do not take inspiration from other magazines, inany case in my niche there aren't vertical portals :)

argan can you share your amazon review template

Is from MyThemeShop, there are many free and are working really well :)

Really cool to know :)
Can you link the Operative Agreemnt part where I can find informations about this 90 days cookies?

In the italian Agreement I can't find the same information, is different.

https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/help/t2/a11

The reason that people think you get a 90 day cookie if someone adds something to the shopping cart is just a misinterpretation of the 90 day cookie.

"As long as the item was added to the customer's Shopping Cart during this 24-hour window for Amazon.com or 30-days for MyHabit.com, you will still earn an advertising fee if the order is placed before the Shopping Cart expires (usually after 90 days)."

That's saying you'll get an advertising fee if the order is placed before the shopping cart expires, and the shopping cart expiry is 90 days. Ie, it's not actually giving you a new affiliate cookie. It's just saving your affiliate information as part of the shopping cart its self, so anything already in the shopping cart will be saved for 90 days, even if they click anymore affiliates links. The only way you then wouldn't get commission is if they remove and re-add from shopping cart.

If you have main silo pages, where you write indepth about what that particular section is about, you should use a table of contents at the top, with bookmarks to each section. You have to create a table, then add rows to that table for the sections of the page, then once you place the bookmark holder on each section, you have a very nice looking set of links to each section of the page. This can be types, tips, brands, terminology. They are the main ones i'm using.

I highlighted the boxes (badly) in this picture. Just make sure you also wrap the text around the table. Just have a little hunt around for html coding, and each of the steps are easy enough to place in the code. I don't think there is a plugin for this, and even if there was, you'd be better just coding it manually anyway.

Lots of the sites in my niche that i done my first silo for have long intro pages, and NONE of them have even bothered to use this. It looks great, and adds tons of value to the reader, plus gives google a couple of little easter eggs on your page.

Awesome awesome thread, I have started my own Amazon site lastly and read alot of threads including yours about Silo and everything.

My plan now is to use categories and interlink post in the same categories, but I have one question:
Lets say my site is about electronic shavers, I create few categories and each category represents product company for example: "Panasonic", "Philips", etc.

Now lets say I want to target keywords like:
"Best electronic shaver" or "How to use electronic shaver" (keywords sound bit stupid but in my niche there are many keywords which are not connected to any of the products categories but have a great value for me).
So how you will use this content in the website? as an external page without a category? Would you interlink to this page even though it isn't categorized?
I get it that when you have one or two pages like this then it is ok to do that, but if you have about 10 pages about different keywords which are not categorized, how would you do that without breaking the silo?

Thanks!

Really amazing thread. I'm only 16 years old, so earning just a little bit of money online, would be a huge dream for me. I'm gonna use this thread a lot, and hopefully it'll be a succes.
Keep it going!

I think you should build your editorial plan and follow it.
You must direct your editorial plan and when you'll find a keyword that has nothing to do with silos that you already have, project a new one, otherwise this contents will do not give strength each other :)

I never create contents outside my silos, and if I need to create it I'll build a new silo :)
Hope this helps

I haven't seen income update in last few pages, did you managed to finish your goal or?

Yeah ofcourse I will follow my own editorial plan, that's why I'm planning it now before I order content.
I just thought you have any idea about how to mix it, I thought about creating another category like "Unique Articles" but it sounds too general for me.
Thanks for answering though!

Yeah, don't worry about, nothing spectacular, just a big traffic increase in a short amount of time :)
I'll update very soon!

Your "Unique articles" idea isn't useful for Silo purposes.
Mixing topics isn't useful for Google and for Users too.

Have you ever noticed the supermarkets' setup? If they put all the products scattered, customers will buy much less because it would be hard to find the products they want.
Hope this helps :)

Its signal for, Weak keyword?
Weak keyword + Commercial intent = smart way to make money :D
I can't really get your question dude

Just wondered out of curiosity, have your best performing articles been the ones where you targeted a product name or a brand name + model so far? And has in most of these cases your original expectation of which one you were targeting remained true?

ie. your keyword pick was "kitchen-o-matic 500" (brand name+model) but when your best results in serps showed, it was for the best green blender,

Or are you just hitting a homerun on all your keyword picks?

Cheers

Yeah I know I shouldn't do that that's why I'm asking you what do you think and what you would have done in that situation?

Yea, when I target a keyword I will be in the first 3 pages after few days and my expectations are come true :)
My contents will be shown in other similar/related SERPs too (long tails make it happen).

Hope I got your point, if not rewrite the question in more simple english buddy :D

Yeah I know I shouldn't do that that's why I'm asking you what do you think and what you would have done in that situation?

Simply I do not do it because I select the content in order to create only topic related texts.
If you'll find and unexpected content or a mix of topic, means your plan isn't good enought :)

If you have site about electric shavers you will have there products but you will also have there general tutorials about electric shavers. you wont make only products website right?

More traffic, more conversions and more orders :)
In August have been ordered 780 products, but I need at least 250 products ordered on a daily basis to reach my goal.

Weekly traffic never fell, because every week there is more traffic compared to the previous one! Here the graph.

"New" Seo
With my physical assistant I'm trying to create a lot of co-occurences. Basically is my brand name followed by a product name (catogory etc) that I want to rank better.
This technique is 100% spam free because I don't use any link to create co-occurences, just brand mantion without any anchor.

I will share my results the next month because until now there aren't important changes in rankings (I started the last week and I think I need a month or soo to see improvements).
To make the test "true", where I create co-occurences I do not any link building activity.

If you aren't familiar with this technique, here a video where all is explained in a really simple way :) Enjoy and try to copy my test, in this way we can compare our results!
Moz: Prediction: Anchor Text is Weakening...And May Be Replaced by Co-Occurrence- Whiteboard Friday

Stay Tuned!

I prefer to keep the topic very closely, so either I speak of tutorials or reviews (or I'll create two separated section only when I've at least 5 articles in that "category").
Hope this helps, if not try to explain better with an easier example because I'm not sure to get your point :)

Well as I have told you my plan is to make categories that will be product brands like "Philips"/"Panasonic" incase we are talking about electric shavers in example and to have product reviews and related articles inside.
But during my keyword research I found alot of keywords that I want to target which are not related to specific products but more like generally about the products like "how to use electric shaver" (this is just an example, not all are "how-to" kw's).
So I can't put this content under one of the categories because it is not related to a specific category, hope you got me.

I thought about creating two top categories: "Products" and "Blog" or something like that so silo will be like:
Root -> Products -> Panasonic -> Electric Shaver V5sx29 Panasonic
Root -> Blog -> How to use electric shaver

I don't like it because the top two categories are not related in any way and it looks bad in my opinion

Something like that but it doesn't look good enough for me. what do you think?
