I have a website where I sell virtual products. The site is about 4-5 months old. I want to start ranking my homepage on search engines (google). I heard the best way to start is to post backlinks to web 2.0 sites. The question is do I have to create unique articles/content for each web 2.0 site?

You should create it so that if your competition reported you (worst case) and google gave you a manual review, that the sites wouldn't look suspect. Some people will happily risk with spun, or word ai generation. Up to you though, trade off between longevity and risk, and how much effort its worth doing for that money term.

You are best served with unique articles on those Web 2.0s. They do not have to be Doctorate quality but you want something decent linking into your sites.

Also, you would be well served building those Web 2.0s so they are more than just a one article site.

Creating unique articles will take me a long time but I agree, it's a better option to go with. Thank you both for your answers.

Unique content, manually built, multi paged, high quality and long content (500+ words) web 2.0's are the best.
Also, some tier 2 and maybe tier 3 links to those web 2.0's would also help with link juice.

Unique content for each web 2.0 site will be more beneficial for your website ranking instead of writing a single article for all. Though it will take time but it is worth.

Hi,
Yes Mate, you would need Web 2.0 submission and for that you need 100% Unique and Readable Articles.
