I actually stopped on a load of my accounts as I have a good deal going on where someone rents Hootsuite access from me. However I did set up virtually identical accounts & have no plans to stop growing them.

What is the best tool for doing this these days? I used to use tweetadder back in the day but I dont think thats around any more? Also used manage flitter (onilne tool) but its a bit expensive and bills monthly....

Tweepi is still the best tool in my opinion. Their new limits to prevent accounts from being banned are a bit strict for my tastes, but I still gain about 100-175 followers per day using their filtered mass follow tool.

I was using TweetDemon, but then I found Twidium. I like Twidium because it's a lot closer to the functionality of TweetAdder (and yes TweetAdder has been banned from Twitter's API). Both TweetDemon and Twidium are in Russia, so Twitter basically can't stop them since they can't sue them. TweetDemon is a one time fee, and Twidium is a yearly fee. But I have clients who pay me monthly to do the work for them, so it is worth it for me to have the best tool and pay a yearly fee for all the features.
