My Review:
I try to be honest and give you my impressions from my particular experiences with this website service. I am a newbie, so I may don't understand everything so far and that's why I sometimes also struggle with uncertainties. I must add that this is the first buy of such a website service and I can't really compare to other services yet.
That is a review based on my impressions from my perspective, which may differ very much from other ones.
Communication & Responsiveness (4.5/5): I think this is quite good. He tries to answer nearly any question and is helpful although I think he can do that even better to be more specific and concrete.
Guiding (3/5): Sky Tiger tries to guide you, when you have questions but like I said it could be better. I really would be pleased with some good pdf guide, which already explains what to do and also a report and guidelines for the specific suite, which was built. For me it would be a good selling point especially for newbies.
Honesty & Reliability (3/5): I was not completely satisfied with it. In the first round I got only articles, which were like 6 years old and some were only like 300 words instead of the promised 500 words. I also wanted to discuss the theme and theme options, but that did not work out either. So I got the normal theme he seems to use for every site. The other things he has delivered so far. After I complained about the article I got 10 fresh article, which was nice. They don't stand out but are otherwise ok.
Keywords & Keywordstrategy (??2??/5): I got 3 main keywords, which mean almost the same and I got no long tail keywords unfortunately. I am also a bit clueless about how I can use them to optimize my articles and on site seo. I did not fully understand how my keywords will work together with my site. I think the overall conception and strategy design is quite bad. I think it may be a better option that the customer is involved more in this designing process. Hey may even have more knowledge about the specific niche than the respective website creation service.
I am also not really sure, if my site will get much traffic with such main keywords. I am not sure how difficult they are to rank. Overall there were no report or metrics delivered at all. I asked Sky Tiger about it, and he ensures me that they are good, but I can't be sure about that, because I have not much information about that. Google Keywordplanner showed me that the main keywords don't have many searches. Maybe it is buggy or something or I understand something wrong. But there is definitely a problem.
Monetarization & Strategy (3/5): Like the problems before. More guiding and sophisticated monetarization strategies are needed, otherwise the ad options will maybe not make so much sense. I have the feeling that they have like a generic process, where everything is put together without many considerations of the specific niche. For the rest I got some good amazon widgets and the integrated shop, a well-positioned adsense-ad, and a questionable clickbank product. I think for my niche clickbank is quite bad. There may be one product, which may fit a bit. But the product I have on my website as ad will not convert, I am pretty sure about that
. The problem with those amazon widgets is they may look somehow great at the first look, but I read they won't convert very well. So better integrate your amazon advertising in your articles and don't waste so much place and time with it on the page. With the second look, they are more of a nuisance than helpful for you (my opinion).
Design(4/5): Design is quite good but not outstanding. That's why not full points. I will change the theme and focus more on pictures, which is advisable for my niche I guess (anime niche). Header Design was quite good I must say. But he only offered it after I asked about it.
Article (3.5/5): It is not high quality like in the service described. Thats why -1 for misleading information. I would say "Standard quality" but yeah I know marketers always exaggerate. Otherwise they are ok, good to read but nothing outstanding a reader definitely would not be fully engaged with it. When I am on my site, I would be never interested in such articles and their titles and pictures. They are also pretty generic in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, they are not bad at all. But if you really want to attract people you need much more.
TAT (4.5/5):Not much problems with it.
SEO: Have no overview or impressions so far from it. So I can't judge that properly. But Sky Tiger said that they are also doing Offsite SEO. But not sure what they are actually doing. A report would be nice for that too.
Getting money out of it: Hard to say. The site you get are only the basics. Considering the fact that I don't know much about their SEO, there is still a lot to do until it will make money. To be honest, I don't think that I will make much money with anime. I think I will handle it more like a hobby of mine and see how it works out.
Newbie Friendly ?: I would say no. There are more guides and reports needed. (My opinion) I am considering myself a newbie I think I can handle the site somehow but I need more knowledge about it first to use a stable strategie. I am also very unsure about my keywords still and that is a problem for me.
