Has this changed the way in which people can offer products/services for sale in BST? Were Exec. VIPs and Mods surprised to learn that Alex was 17? Do you regret vouching for him? I would think it would be reasonable to impose an age restriction on people posting in BST - say, 21 years old. And that no one under that age should really be a moderator on this forum.

I didn't when I was an Exec. VIP. However I did mention above in a previous post that I thought at the time that it sounded like a great deal. I had no idea he was a kid. Apparently no one did, including admins and mods, since the fact that he was underaged was never disclosed to potential customers.

I, like you, assumed he was an adult.

I never went on record to endorse his work since I had no experience with it.

What we need is a list of the people who lost their money and how much he has paid back. And 17? So what? Harro made 22k in one day when he was 12. I say give him a chance, at least he came back. That hardly qualifies him as an expert on anything. You have no right to charge people $2k a pop for coaching when you're only pulling in $80k/year. The "Gurus" who are making seven digits don't even charge that much for their material.

If he didnt want to scam people he would have sent all of them an email explaining what the situation was instead of disappearing and then writing in a blog he blew the money on laptops, traveling, etc... That is a slap in the face to the people he ripped off and he is a little bitch for doing so.

Yeah you're right, i dont know what i was thinking. I guess im too kind. I emailed him to see if i could help him, but no reply lol... He should come to this thread and make amends, but he wont. Im sorry for the people who lost thousands to him, i dont think he knows shit about marketing... just trickery.

Remember that $9 mentoring he was offering? That was a load of bs. He was just getting people to fill out a cpa offer then pay me $24 and refund people who asked for a refund. That's just plain stealing off of affiliate networks. And in hindsight that $9 "Mentoring" he was offering was a sign of desperation.

Now he didnt tell me all of this, another jrvip pointed this out to me. And this is a blackhat forum so i figured as long as he was giving refunds to the customers everything was all good.

I agree - it is time that the owners/senior mods commented on this debacle. I think the reluctance to reinstate Alex's original sales threads demonstrates that there was a lot of support for him from people who are now embarrassed that they did.

If you're going to accept a fee in exchange for someone selling their services on your website, you really need to face the music when things go wrong. A lot of my negative comments about Alex got deleted, and if they had stayed up, probably would have saved people a lot of money.

Also - the mods and owners now need to make it clear how they've learned from this, and clean up the processes involved in making someone a mod, or allowing them to sell on your forum.

This is probably one of the biggest scams BHW has ever had to deal with, and I'm not sure silence is the way to go with this.....

As far as I see it, you made the transaction and you chose to purchase services. BHW Mods/Admins don't have to help you, they do so as a courtousy so taking your anger out on them is just plain wrong.

It's up to you to make a judgement call, if you don't feel safe purchasing don't buy. Personally anything over $500 goes on Credit Card, AND I make sure I get a written signed contract (you really think u got any chance without the paperwork? I learnt this from experience when someone I did some work for turned round and refused to pay around $5000).

Like I said, as he is a minor, you need to sue his parents, you also need to get in touch with his local police force for theft. Also get in touch with the Tax people where he lives, bet he didnt realise he had to pay taxes. Trust me thats enough to get rid of your anger...

Or you can simply read a money making thread, sit down and plan a stragety to earn that $2k back, im sure it'd amount to the same amount of time/effort in the end.

I disagree - I think the owners in particular (and whoever approved Wealthy's BST threads) actually DO have a responsibility to forum members. They have no business approving a BST offer if the person making the offer isn't of legal age to do so.

Some senior admins and mods could have shut up and said nothing, but many endorsed Wealthy as a stand-up guy. That's not helping - it's hindering. To make matters worse, my comments criticising him were removed. So, the actions of some mods on this forum have directly cost people money they didn't have to lose. So yes, I WILL take my anger out on them as well as on Alex.

It shouldn't be that hard to determine how old someone is before letting them offer services for sale, or allowing them to become a trusted moderator here.

All I'm asking is for the mods/owners to comment in this thread saying that they have learned something from this, and that others in future won't be taken in a similar manner because there are now good processes in place to ensure that people are of age.

It doesn't seem too much to ask.

I was a member of realzu but wasn't able to use the method and Alex gave me a refund so I consider myself very lucky.
