How to Rank - A Quick Guide for Newbies

Thanks for very good and concise information. I have couple of questions for you.

1. For building tier 2/3 contextual links with GSA what kind of content do you use? Would scraped and spun unique content from wicked article creator do or do you recommend readable content using article builder or wordai?
2. What type of emails do you use - hotmail / gmail / yahoo or any other. I am asking this because email addresses get blacklisted very quickly when used with GSA.
3. I found that contextual links from GSA has very poor stick rate. Most articles get deleted within few weeks. Do you keep building tier2/3 contextual links continuously?

Are you sure that web 2.0s plays an important role in ranking sites. i haven't done anything like that. i may beleive if it is old web2.0s not new ones which are created after the main sites creation.

Currently i have huge resource of super easy KW which fulfills your criteria.

What about high pr comment backlinks, is it like inviting penalty even if it has low obl ? ever been in this situation ? this is easy to get.

Web 2.0s act as a buffer and are a lot safer for your site. Web 2.0s can often rank themselves and pass more link juice, plus you have more control over your platform. I can keep going, 2.0s are wonderful.

Emails matter if you need more than one 2.0 per Root domain. As in if you are making five Wordpress 2.0s, they matter.

Keep comments low. You have 2.0s to help you rank. Comments can be powerful, BUT, they are risks. A handful are natural, a lot are NOT.

3. I Re - Verify links from time to time, and re build links as required. SEO is an on going process and even tier one go down. Unless you have a massive PBN and control it fully, it is an assumed risk and any seller or person stating otherwise is lying.

Homepage will be more powerful.

You can always add more content to a 2.0 to make it stronger, but link out once to not dolute its power.

Some risks are:

1. The Admin takes it down (They do that if your blog is resource intensive so too big can be a problem)
2. You are spending a lot of resources on a property as you need more articles that look unique.

I always try to stay under 5 pages on a web 2.0 I build myself, and this includes about us and a contact page. A couple pages of content works wonders.

Not everyone can afford good SEO, and Agencies cost a LOT. Even to buy links in the market place you need to know what you are buying. Test first, get some success, then move onto more challenging KWs.

Exact match for EASY KWs. If you have harder KWs and will need PBN links, go with Branded or Hyperlink.

It is all about keeping anchor percentages in check. If you have an easy KW, go ahead and use exact match with Web 2.0 so you can rank better. If you know going in the KW is more difficult and will require many 2.0s or PBN links, mix it up.

Great share OP.

On the flip side, one can always build up your brand and reputation, grab tons of organic traffic into your internal pages with valuable content, and then most of the things that you post (granted it is on-page optimized) will easily rank without doing any backlinking.

To me, the amount of work to do that is equal, and longevity is higher (and payout on selling the website is also higher).

But that's just my 2 cents

If you start with a strong domain or do prep work on it well (Maybe I should post another guide how I do that?) and do a lot of content marketing / social promotion you can rank easy KWs no problem.

The issue is that sort of work is a slower burn (My SEO is a six month process and is extremely stable) than even I do and it is not as consistent. But totally can be done. You need a niche and to know where to market it in specifically. SEO takes a lot of the experience in a niche out of it when you just try to rank KWs.
