For public networks, what do you consider high metrics? TF, PA, DA - the exact numbers.
Metrics only tell half the story, but in general high metrics I look for are:
- Age
- TF
- DA
- PA
CF tells you links total, but TF is where a real evaluation is at.
Still, you never know what you are getting unless you see the back link profile. Sadly, all the tools in the world only see a fraction of the links.
Hi lightningblitz,
Thanks for very good and concise information. I have couple of questions for you.
1. For building tier 2/3 contextual links with GSA what kind of content do you use? Would scraped and spun unique content from wicked article creator do or do you recommend readable content using article builder or wordai?
2. What type of emails do you use - hotmail / gmail / yahoo or any other. I am asking this because email addresses get blacklisted very quickly when used with GSA.
3. I found that contextual links from GSA has very poor stick rate. Most articles get deleted within few weeks. Do you keep building tier2/3 contextual links continuously?
Thanks
1. This depends on tier. For tier one, I upload article manually that I buy on BHW, or I manually spin an Article. They tend to stick longer. For two and three, I just use GSA's article tool.
2. I buy yahoo and hotmail in bulk as of right now. The best way to prevent email banning is:
Limiting number of accounts to a site (One is optimal)
Huge number of emails (At least 1K)
Higher Filters for Posting intervals
Sure, I get ten banned emails a day when being aggressive, but this helps limit my loss.
Nice read OP, i would still advice to use a view no-follow web2.0 in your tier one, not only is it not natural if all your links are do-follow, often you can get a niche chunk of extra free traffic if you rank them for the lower keywords (the 250 a month keywords)
That is true. A page ranking in your niche will bring you traffic and ranking faster than a non ranking page. I prefer to build foundational links to my domain with no follow 2.0s in it. I find some long tails for my niche I would never rank for and build them up that way. But domain prepping is another facet to SEO entirely.
When I want to rank something for the sake of ranking, I follow the path of least resistance and exert the least amount of effort possible.
For the sake of an easy to follow guide, have a second section for links you do not build another tier too was not something I wanted to address for the simple fact you can rank without it and it makes this sound a lot harder than it is.
Good tip.
Great guide just one question.
About how many url shorteners do you build to each web 2.0?
You never said in the OP and I was just wondering.
I start small. This does depend on site and domain age largely, but I try to build the original shortener to share on social media via google, and then build about five shorteners via the other 'big' shorteners. I pump them up and see how they do.
If it does not work, I start the process over before I build PBN links and by round two of shorteners I am a bit more aggressive.
This in large part depends on site age. I build bigger sites and if a page is sticking and needs another round of shorteners I am more aggressive.
The biggest issue is a 2.0 being taken down, but it should have aged six months before I blast it with another wave of shorteners so stick rate is fairly high.
Great share OP. I have a question, do you use proxies when creating accounts on web 2.0? And if I read it right, each of the keyword has each own set of web 2.0s? Thank you.
Each KW or Page has its own set of 2.0s.
When I build my own 2.0s I use a proxy and new email when possible. The larger issue are fresh emails and a proxy when building to top (Read: Heavily Moderated) 2.0s like Wordpress tend to be. I can get away with most others with no issues
How do you tell BHW sellers about your niche ?
I tell them, point blank.
By time I get to a seller I either:
1. Am buying SEO for an easy comp KW which is not worth stealing.
2. High Competition I did a lot of work for and I know they can't rank within 6 months.
So I do not fear giving my niche or KWs away. If you are super selective about sharing your niche, do the work yourself. Me? I am not that paranoid and I never give a single seller work for ALL of my sites. Just in case.
How you choose your niche.. how you are monetizing your sites ?
I choose niche in a variety of ways:
1. Best domain I find.
2. Working with my KW guy.
3. Picking a business I know or need a site for.
I have a few adsense sites. I also have websites for real businesses I need leads for. One site I did some SEO for is strictly a website to funnel people too my business partner meets in person. Purely informational. I need to eventually re - do that site and make it SEO friendly, but I have many other projects.
I make money in the way which makes the most sense. If it made sense to offer a BST, I would. If it made sense to sell my kidney, I would. The key is to have the money come as naturally as possible for the user.
Informational sites are adsense.
Review sites are Amazon or ClickBank.
Networking Sites are for Leads and Conversions.
@ Everyone else:
Thank you for the praise. Any feedback would be appreciated.
