Is 7878's ORM method LEGAL?

I see many people using this method and many people having success too. But I wonder, is it LEGAL (in Australia)?

This involves maneuvering the customers' reviews. So if a customer intends to post a good review, it goes right onto the review sites. It's fine. But when the customers' want to post a bad review, it goes onto a secret page only visible to the owner or us. Right? So doesn't that violate tons of terms of the review sites such as Google, Yelp etc.? Doesn't this put you at the risk of getting sued, and your client (business owner) also getting sued?

1). How do you justify to yourself that what you are doing is legal? And can actually get out of trouble easily if you are sued or police questions you or something?

2). How do you justify to your client that what you are doing for them is legal and they or their business won't get into trouble ever for using your services?

I want to try out this method but I want to make sure first that there won't be any legal ramifications.

There's no 'secret' page, it's just a feedback page that uses the psychology that the customer just wanted to be heard and complain somewhere rather than leaving a negative review on a review site. I'm not sure which part you think is illegal?

Its not breaking any terms since the user goes to your website for feedback.Once you see the feedback is positiv you ask him to share it on review websites.
If the feedback is negativ you just forward it to the owner.
So this way the user only visited your own website and there can't be any tos violation since the user never visited the review website

What I meant by secret page is that the negative reviews stay hidden from the public eye and is only revealed to the owner.

What we are 'attempting' to do is keep the customer from leaving a bad review onto the review site. But as Bismarck explained that the customer never reaches the reviews site so we can't possibly be breaking their TOS. This makes sense.

If we try to reach the customers who have already left a bad review and offer them discount coupon or something and request them to try the service again, would that be breaking TOS?

I don't think there is anything illegal.
you could justify it by arguing that if a customer is unhappy (leaving bad review) then it is imperative that this feedback goes directly to the owner so they can make changes based on the negative feedback.

No you're misunderstanding, there are no negative reviews, just negative feedback. The customer can still go to a review site if they really want to independent of any steps or efforts we make.

Exactly.....this just gives the business owner (hopefully) a head's up , maybe they can reach out and "make it right"

The funnel also makes it easier for happy customers to leave a review, reminds them to....it helps offset a bad review

Statistically the squeaky wheel gets the grease..and an unhappy customer is far more likely to take the trouble to review

You just can't post false reviews or pay for reviews.

In reality, anything you do can be construed as illegal - did you breathe today? If so, did you pay your carbon tax??

There is a better twist, I think, that is fully legal, no double in my mind.

Capture the feedback, and email.

If feedback positive, send them an email with image logos to rating places. Also I would insert a human check in between to check that the review is indeed worthwhile and does not have hidden gotchas.

I don't agree with you that review sites hide or make secrete the negative reviews. In fact, all reviews are watchable. Don't know to whom you want to sue??

Of course it is legal. There is also a need that you should have to correct your information regarding negative reviews. Who told you that this ORM method negative reviews. In simple words, there are not secrete pages are available according to my information.
