Depends. Cheaper ones maybe for churn and burn, but everything that is higher than say $40 you can surely use for any white hat project.

Leo has some great domains listed on his site with good age and good metrics. The prices, for most domains, are fair and the delivery process was easy, fast and worked without issues.

What I like is that he lists all the domain names on his site (as images, so Google can't index them) so you can do your own due diligence. In fact, you should absolutely do that, because I found a lot of what I consider to be spam in there. But if you dig deep enough, you'll find some diamonds in the rough. Leo doesn't spam check the domains, which reflects in his pricing so it's the job of the buyer to do that.

Concerning spam, you are totally right saying "what I consider to be spam". But the spam level threshold is different for different people. I see no problem having a domain with a bunch of great .gov and wiki backlinks but with a couple of occasional spam backlinks. In fact I love such domains. But your thoughts and experience may differ, and so ones of anyone else.

2checkout works perfectly, for me and for all my clients, well may be not for you. I think you'd better sort it out with 2CO rather than state it's "not working".
