Negative Paypal balance, enough for them to hire debt collectors?

Bro, I said nothing about suing? They will definitely pursue it though, and aggressive at that if they know his address.

The most they can do is call his number he listed or send a letter its not really that aggressive.

But you were kinda making it seem like OP needed to be scared about paypal, which he doesn't.

OP as an avid watcher of the TV show "COPS" I look forward to seeing you on show.

u frickin fugitive

Why is someone going to intercept it if it has your name on it?

While being (rightfully) nosy, OP's mom is going to find the letter from Paypal, storm up to OP's room where OP is playing on his Xbox One, burst through his door like the Tasmanian Devil, and give him the biggest whooping of his life. I can only fathom how it would play out.

OP: MAMA! *SMACK* MAMA! *SMACK* NOOO! *SMACK* NOOO! *SMACK* MAMA! *SMACK*

The final shot of the action will be of the camera panning in on OP's Xbox One controller falling to the ground with muffled smacks heard in the background before the scene fades to black.

They will try to get their money back of course.

Chance of having a mail? Almost 100%

Chance of having to payback this money? unlikely.

And stop saying you got scammed. You're 15, you should never have been on paypal in the first place, or if you did, you should have make sure you were smart enough to avoid this problem.

OP, put it on YouTube for us to watch.

The above is hilarious but no, they are 100% not going to send debt collectors you fool.
Why would they pay $500 to collect $170?

Send debt collectors? It costs them about $0 dollars to use phone calls and send letters, which is exactly what debt collectors do.

Why do some of you assume some guy in a trench coat is breaking down OP's door. PayPal isn't the Mob, lmao.

Pretty sure it's fraud if you owe money through a false identity?

That being said nothing will happen.

They are going to try and send mail to that fake address listed on that account. Seriously though, you should just find a way to earn the $170 and get the account back out of the red.

OP has some beef with the Capo di tutti capi because he hasn't paid his juice, ya see? He should be expecting a visit from cousin Vinny to collect his vig, and whack him if he gives them some fugazi or tries to call the screws.
