Focus, motivation, drive... Can come from different things other than stimulants and exercise, an example here.
My main goal (obviously besides the money) is to travel, all the time and everywhere. People can get "cabin fever" without realizing it. And I'm not just talking about staying inside too much, talking about seeing the same things EVERY day. Waking up, same bathroom. Same people, same kitchen. Same living room, go outside to the same car and drive to the same job. That right there is disheartening to say the very least. And people grow accustom to it without ever realizing it, or seeing the faults in it! It just becomes a passive thing, because that's what everyone around them is doing too. Point A to point B, you repeat the same stuff and just maybe you'll get some release or escape from this during the weekends. This, is to be avoided at all costs!!
Where I come from people save up for the entire year just to go on a 1 week vacation. Talking pinching pennies to see what the rest of the world looks like, to absorb the vibes of the different places and to breathe unfamiliar airs.
And you should see them, (when) they come back they're almost like different people. Only temporarily, after about 3 days they'll sink back into the cruel monotony of whatever their lives represent.
That, is the greatest thing about doing this Internet stuff. If you're good at it, the work space so to speak can go with you anywhere. Any place. You could "work" in Moscow today and land in Miami tomorrow. Well, maybe not that fast considering the distance.
But it's a freedom that not many get to experience. People, even rich people are constantly tied down to a place and a person they have to see. Close a deal here, present a product their... Fly to this country and talk with this executive. Lobby this pharmaceutical product. Lucky for anyone here, all this is done through that glass screen for the most part. Unless you choose to take it further, do offline marketing and all that stuff.
These thoughts keep me thankful every day, and grounded. Maybe not as driven as I could or should be, but they sure as hell keep me going in my journey.
