It means they changed the recipe they use to judge a site. Could favor social more now, could hate social now... could like 1,000 word articles or could care less about article size. They changed shit to confuse people and squeeze users into PPC.

My customer did it innocently and website was removed from Google's first page in just three day!!!
I recovered website back from Google's penalty after it was terminated in seven days.

I've seen fluctuations today (downwards) and the page is my Amazon sales page, which only has PBN links pointing to it. Will see how it pans out over the next few weeks.

Panda has nothing to do with links, it's a quality update, duplicate content, poorly written content, little content and what not.
Apparently, Penguin which is responsible for links, won't be ready for months. Plenty of time, to diversify anchor text and links.

I was merely stating that my page has lost its high ranking - what the cause is I do not know.

You're wrong. If the site that links to your site have quality issues regarding Panda, then your links will be devalued and so the Panda have an effect on your offpage factors.
