Work is progressing well and I spend less and less time at the PC. Thisis a really good thing.

I've been thinking of doing this same thing for a while as well, a big authority site with reviews/articles using Amazon Affiliates, Adsense, and maybe CPA as well.

However I am going to do it all myself with about a initial $500 budget, maybe increasing to $1000 or $2000 if it seems to be successful.

I am a newbie and have never made a IM site at all...how long do you think it would take to be generating decent profits? ($60 a day)
Going to write about 5 articles a day. My area of expertise is electronics, is this market too saturated? Computers, Audio, TVs, phones, etc...what do you think?

Well, if you don't already have websites and online project of this kind, you need to study/design a big business plan.
$ 500 budget is enought for first month but in the first month it's really hard to see earnings, for this is a long term investment.

To generate $ 60 a day, according to my expeience, I need 4/5 months (link building and contents generation in full throttle mode).
You need to consider that I know what I'm going to do because I studied and I learned to make accurate forecasts failing

Electronics niche is satureted and you know why? Because people are writing about the same things, about news, about scoops etc!
You'll put more time for keyword research but in the end you'll find the unexplored space where competition is low and monthly searches are interesting (200+).

Hey Argan. I'm curious...how does your referral traffic look? Seems like almost all the link building you do is with guest blog posts and I'm curious to see the trend/quality of the traffic. Would be interesting to see if you don't mind showing it. If not, no worries.

I have built some Amazon sites in the past (long long time ago) but not for some time, I have been planning to start a few new ventures into this area as I have now some free time and some really nice domains that I have kept in storage for this purpose.. So thank you for the great ideas. I'm also going to work in my own geographic area (a nordic country) so we will not be competitors

Anyway, my question is, how do you brief your copywriters? Do you do research yourself and give points that you want them to write article about or do you have some kind of generic template that you use for instructions? IE how much freedom do you give to your writers? I assume your reviews/articles are based on research of other articles/comments?

This has been one of the best threads I have read on BH - it's easy to see that you aren't just some newbie aiming to impossibilities (as someone might think from the title)

I've a fast template that I had tested for few months and my tests say that is converting really well
Copywriters need to take inspiration from other contents but I give them H2/H3/H4 titles and they need to follow it (this are based on keyword research).

Dude believe me when I say I'm not a Pro, I need to learn a lot of things, for this I'm reading a lot of books on a monthly basis

No, I don't use any Amazon information to make Seo or to create titles.
I create titles using keyword research and making keyword density of long tails to know which words/problems are the most sought by Google's users.

Here in Italy Max commission is 10 €, for this reason my average commission for every product has a limit...
For this I'm planning to introfuce eBay Partner Network to know how converts (commissions are higher but it's harder to get them)

Betting he didn't. Seems like Google updates mainly affect US/English SERPs and not international ones. I believe Argan's site is in Italian.
