Amazon Authority Website Journey to € 1000 a Day - 100% Outsourced

Hello

Can you tell us more about the time before you created the fist amazon website.

What did you do before?
How long did it actual take you to build the site? I mean from the first idea about the site to the state right now.
Did you think "will it work" or did you just sat down and build it

What kept you going before you actual earned something via Amazon?
Did you tell any of your friends or family at the beginning and what did they say about your project?

Thanks stenem

Well, my first Amazon websites were a total fail lol
I tried to "think" about something that people was looking to buy but I was wrong and this sites ended up in the trash :)

Regarding to your second question, according to my experience you can't see good earning before 6 months, and with good earnings I mean € 2000+/month.
It's even difficult reach € 1000+/month if you don't have a lot of experience (and you need to fail in order to get it).

I chose Amazon because was a big brand and, after reading some reviews, I decided to give it a try!
Yes, I share my ideas with few IMers (Panther28 too :D) but don't share anything with my family.

I'm not a Pro, I need to learn a lot before to say "Yes, I'm the man!" lol

When you ask for back links from other webmasters do you point your link to home page or specific inner pages?
And does the page (your post) has amazon affiliate link on it?

Can a pure Shopping Cart site (info extracted through WP plugin from Amazon) with little content from my side, will it be acceptable to Amazon ?

No. Amazon want that you deliver additional informations and content.
Otherwise they will close your account after a while or won't accept the account in the first place.
I'm targeting low competition and low traffic volume keywords but in few weeks I will start to target high volume keywords (I've editorial plan and a list of hundreds of content).
When my website will gain trust I will start to push high search volume contents :)
How would you know when your site is "trusted"?

From 5 to 10+. For every affiliate link I've 2 inner links :)

Great journey and I have been following it since the start. Great to see that you are nearing the 100 euro mark now.

I would just like a small clarification if you do not mind. I am planning to create an authority site with amazon affiliate links soon though for the US market. But I am a bit worried and thinking about the affiliate linking pattern. So, you mention that you are using anywhere between 5 to 10+ affiliate links per page and then nofollow the links. Do you mask the affiliate links too or leave them just as in the naked url? You also mention that you use 2 inner site links for every affiliate link. So, does that mean that for every 8 affiliate links for example, you use 16 inner page links. So, are all those 8+16=24 links within the post itself? Would that not look a bit unnatural to have so many links in a single post? Thank you for replying to all the queries in this thread. Hope that you achieve your target soon.

Hello,
got a question. Hope you or someone else could help me out. So, it's about keywords if the keyword is coffee machine in the keywordtool I can see coffee machine review
coffee machine amazon
coffee machine business
coffee machines best
coffee machine with grinder
coffee machines for offices
do you go for every result or combine results, for example: best coffee machine with grinder, best coffee machines for offices review or best business coffee machine from amazon

Thanks!

I've read through most of this whole thread and joined up just to post here. I have an Amazon site that's been languishing for several years and recently I decided to add more content and take it to the next level. I've learned a few things on this thread and gotten a lot of inspiration.
Since my site is well-written with tons of evergreen content, I just need to push the link building. I won't be able to match your success (no time), but my goal is to get from basically zero to a couple of hundred dollars a month on this site. Thanks!

Guys in the past 2 days I was traveling but I will update in few hours with traffic and earning report :)
All the work is going on because there are people who are working for me, for this I love invest, I don't have to trade my time for money but only money for money (the most profitable way to make money in my opinion :) )

When you ask for back links from other webmasters do you point your link to home page or specific inner pages?
And does the page (your post) has amazon affiliate link on it?

I think no one will place your url in the homepage (if you don't know the websmater and if it's cold contact).
I always create a guest post in the website's category that fits my niche :)

Yeah, backlink page (if isn't homepage) as affiliate links, for this isn't 100% easy get backlinks, but if you establish a relationship with the webmaster, the whole process will be easied and faster (like everything on socials and do congratulations for the work done).

Praise someone's work makes you friendly and likeable (start your "guest posting requests" with this little "trick").

You can't make a lot of money because you can't get traffic from organic search but accourding to Amazon EU it's ok (I've asked this in a support ticket and, after website review, their answer was positive).
In any case send a support ticket to review your idea/project to stay under the radar (it's free and in 24 hours you'll receive the answer).

You're right, get approved an Amazon account with an Amazon Copy website isn't the best solution :)

How would you know when your site is "trusted"?
When my ranking will be pushed in first spots (also where I don't plan to push them).
All long tails will work better and, as authoritative resource, Google will place my contents in newn SERPs :)

Well, according to my experience is unnatural have more external links than internal.
Actually I don't cloak my affiliate links because I can benefit from this to make clearer the theme of my website.

If in a coffe machine article I'll link a trusted website (Amazon) and this external page has a coffe machine for sale, I will make stronger and relevant the theme of my website :)
For thsi I don't care about this, the only rule here for me is to have more inner links than external.

To rank for "coffee machine" you need to have a lot of supporting articles "coffee machine business" + "coffee machine with grinder" + "coffee machine amazon" etc that are linking your main content that speaks about coffe machines :)
All supporting articles will give power to your main content and this will rank high without a lot of backlinks.

Now, more supporting articles you can produce and more power you can give to your main content.

I've read through most of this whole thread and joined up just to post here. I have an Amazon site that's been languishing for several years and recently I decided to add more content and take it to the next level. I've learned a few things on this thread and gotten a lot of inspiration.

Dude you can push it wherever you want! Don't do this work for only 200 €/month, your work and your ideas are worth more :)

Things are going slowly but effectively. Go from less than a hundred to more than a hundred a day with an Amazon site is really difficult as you can see.
Requires more traffic because is a step very high and 100 € a day is not the double 50 € a day (requires much more effort than expected).

Ehi, but this is a challenge, I will continue to invest, to create contents and build backlinks with the same rhythm.
Considering that all I'm doing today will bring results in two months, I can't waste time and I need to boost steadily :)

On Friday I bought a Yamaha MT-03 2008 and I'm going to stay less time in front of my PC :D
This in photo is the same model with same optionals (akrapovic exhaust, windshield, led lights etc).

Owning a motorcycle has been my dream since I was 16 years old and today I made it!
Unfortunately here in Italy, especially in my country, insurance is very expensive because there are many thefts and fake accidents!

Actually I'm paying 1200 €/year only for this insurance (motorcycle paid: 3000 €) but ehi, I love it and I'm going to have fun on all Sundays :)

Actually this was an example of a keyword, I am trying to rank in a different niche ( I have saw you using the kitchen niche for examples :D ) , but I dont know if I can combine the different keywords , in order to make my content more appeiling , because artikel with 500 words and 6-7 times mentoning the keyword ( " coffee machine with grinder , coffee machine bussiness ... etc." ) is a bit annoying to read ...

My question is: if I combine two or more results from keywordtool , in this case " best business coffee machine from amazon"
Do I rank for these keywords : coffee machine amazon; coffee machine business ; coffee machines best
Thanks !

P.S Nice Bike wish you a lot of happy moments with it :)

I don't think you should mention the exact keyword 6-7 times. I think it is enough to order an article with the topic "coffee machine with grinder". The content will become relevant automatically. If you force the keyword 6-7 times in the content, it might become unreadable like you said.

Well, I'd say you have a chance of ranking. But a little one. It is much better is it to make separate articles for each long tail - like arganrecords is doing. But of course it takes more effort and money. So you need to find a middle ground. Group your long tails logically and write articles about these groups. In your example I would write a text about 'business coffee machines' and 'coffee machines amazon' at the minimum.

My 2 cents, I am also pretty new at this. ;)

Thanks for answering,

Actuly I mean once you get your guest post published it has your blog link on it right. DO you point that link (from other webmaster) to your inner page or home page of your own blog?

Your main content should include all the long tails and for me "coffee machine with grinder" and "coffee machine bussiness" aren't long tails.
This are some of the long tails obtained from "coffee machine bussiness":

coffee machine business franchise review
coffee machine business franchise
coffee machine business for sale
coffee machine business expense
coffee machine business philippines

As you can see you can get long tails from every keyword, in this case I will create a content called "The Best Coffee Machine For Business" (just an example because can't really understand what kind of content I will write because I need to analize my competitors etc).

I will write inside all long tails because Google "knows" about this topic thanks to users searches, and Google will uderstand that your content answers better (for what Google "knows" about that topic).

You can always go deeper with keyword research and you need to do it :)

I've a 70% of links pointing on the homepage and 30% in inner pages.
I'm working with a big amounth of contents and can't really provide a backlink for any content, for this I'm boosting my homepage.
If my Silo structure is proper, I will distribute all link juice in a homogeneously way and all bakclinks pointing to homepage will distribute the power in all internal pages :)

Thank you for your answer, really helping me to deciding thins.
Another question if you don't mind.
I see many other amazon affiliate with use dynamic page where latest post will show in the home page while others use a static main article in the home page which will never change and if I am now wrong you are also using static home page.

Can you explain the reason why u chose a static rather than dynamic?

As every Tuesday I got traffic and commissions records!
Today was the first day in which the total traffic have exceeded 1000 visits in a single day (1022 to be precise) :)

Today I got 35 products ordered in a single day and as you can see every single product is worth € 3 on average.

First column is for shipped items, second for sales turnover and third for commissions (I don't want anymore to manipulate images with translation from Italian to English).

I chose this kind of homepage because I don't know what can be targeted in my homepage.
I don't have a niche website but vertical portal where contents are speaking about a lot of topic related to the main theme.

For this reason I can't target anything on my homepage simply because I'm speaking about many topically similar but very large contents :)
You can target something specific when your website is speaking about a small niche in my opinion.

As for www.forbes.com I can only show Top Stories on my homepage and link all my contents with a Macro menu.
