Boosting follewer without follow - unfollow method

Hello i want to ask is there anyway to gain followers
Without follow/unfollow ppl? I read many ppl do scrapping but i still dont understand how to. Really need help. Pardon my english. Thanks

so let's me say i saw someone acc (A) with 5 billion follower , and most of his follower repeatedly follow another acc ( B), (C) etc and so on. I want to ask do u know what is A method using? obviously you need to utilize the other features of instagram such as liking, commenting, uploading content with relevant hashtags so people can find you via search, you can purchase/trade shotouts, there's quite a few ways to gain followers without following a single user
