Review Time!
I bought a link from Mashable here in order to drive traffic and boost the rank on one of my websites. My site is a niche ecommerce site, about 5 years old. I'd been considering buying into a high-end authority links for a while now, because I felt that my website would benefit in sales from the traffic. So when I saw labs8vivek's price was the best I've seen for a Mashable link yet I decided to pull the trigger.
I got my link around 7/3, the first thing I noticed was an immense jump in traffic. My website typically will see 375-500 visitors per day. But once the Mashable link hit I saw a FLOOD of over 9,000! I made 25 sales that day and with thefirst day's traffic from this link alone was able to pay for the link several times over. So I was pretty happy. But it wasn't over yet.The next day was in the 6,000's of traffic, and the next three days were between nearly 6,000 and 4,000 each day. Even as of yesterda yI'm still seeing residual traffic well above a thousand. Sales have been NUTS. From a sheer investment perspective I've made a killing here. This article is EVERYWHERE now.
Next come the rank part. While I did this link more for traffic and exposure than rank I was hoping to seesome of the keywords for the home page see an increase as well.Apparently my site really needed some authority BADLY, because it didn't take long for me to start seeing some quick improvements. Isaw four keywords get massive help here. They were anywhere between the 20's and 40's to start. But it seems that either the link's authority, the massive traffic jolt, or the other natural links I'venoticed that the post got me in the days following, but something has rattled them loose finally. One that I've been wanting to rank in particular is now at #6 as I write this. Only big boys like Amazon, and Best Buy are ahead of me now. I'm definitely gonna bank on this one.
So anyway, I'm extremely pleased with the work here. I got the link I've always wanted, and it was writtenso well that it appears to have gone viral essentially. I'm seeing sales, and I'm now seeing why the big players have been dealing in these elite authority links. A+++++ Doesn't get any more legit.
*UPDATE: Just checked my rank again and the lead keyword is up another two slots... this is MONEY baby!
