[Method] Amazon to eBay Drop-shipping Done Right! Spoon Fed! *Long/Detailed*

If you read, you will see that it doesn't take me much time at all once it's setup :)

Hi Lewy,

1)I want to know you said it's 10% ebay fees and 4% paypal. I have a few questions regarding that, so if I sell something for $1000 ebay will take $100 and will paypal take $40? My other question regarding the same thing is you said we buy from Amazon, won't amazon take 10% ebay fees and 4% paypal and then when someone buys from ebay you lose another 10% ebay fees and 4% paypal??? Please help me with this I am confused about it

2)Is the free $35 only for PRIME?

3) If you want to try and do this for Europe ebay, is it the same process??

4) How do we know the shipping if amazon has one place and someone buys from a different place from ebay? Also can you tell me all the factors of calculations involed in this process?

Thanks

1. Amazon has nothing to do with eBay. You pay fees based on what you sell, not what you buy.

2. I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean free shipping, it is free for almost any item on Amazon, if you don't use prime, the items have to be above $35 for free shipping.

3. As I stated in the first post, I have no idea how to do this from outside the US, although many people here have.

4. eBay gives you the shipping address when someone buys. You copy and paste that address into Amazon when purchasing.

Please do research on how eBay and Amazon work, it will really help you understand.

Thanks man, your right I will do that but just one last question when someone buys the product from Ebay does that mean they won't know how much the shipping will be because don't you have to put the shipping price, but you or they won't know what the shipping is until they buy, so what do we do about that?

I can't believe this thread is still going.. You have thousands of people watching you right now. I just created my first account here because this place is so TRICKY and has loads of information. You're going to see thousands of people learning to drop-ship simply because of this thread alone, and it's free. I recently purchase the DS domination course (Very Expensive), and it doesn't have all the info that you provided.. I appreciate you for giving back to the community.

To answer the doubters if this works or not? YES AND NO depends if you are a hard worker.. I was doubter too for two years until I quit my job and looked into drop-shipping and dropshipped on my own. Long story short I made a few profit here and there, but it was a mess I guess because I didn't do enough research. Amazon prices keeps changing, becoming out of stock, amazon taxes through me off guard, and I quit because I didn't want my eBay account to be banned.. Then a year later I purchased DS by roger langille, and the pro LEVEL is useless. I already knew everything before I joined.. They want me to upgrade to elite 99 dollars a month, but I REFUSED and then I came across this thread.. WOW, Can anybody confirm if it's true that you can create a new prime trial account every 30 days? If that's true then there's no limit on how much money you can make doing this.. I personally know a UK EBAY seller who profits 40/50K with 100,000 listings doing this.. (NO JOKE), but she works her butt OFF like crazy.. Anyways I have a few questions, and if you already answer this I'm sorry... I'm still on thread number 8, and my eyes were hurting, so I wanted to do a post of my own. LOL

1) You said you make like 8 to 10 sales a day.. Will amazon get suspicious if you make like 50/100 sales a day for 30 days straight using multiple prime account? if so, can amazon ban your IP address and the credit card # you are using for abusing their prime membership? I heard stories of amazon suing seller's and making them pay back postage. (That's why I hold off for two years and quit dropshipping because I read about it).
2) What do you use to track your items? Amazon prices changes throughout the day. Since you only have 150 items listed, I assume it's easier but say if you have like thousands of listings? How can you track it all?
3) TAXES: DO you have a spreadsheet that you make to keep track of your profits? And by the end of the year, do you need to show the IRS proof of these profits? Sorry, I've never done my own tax before. (LOL)
4) You said you use global shipping for international buyer's; I've done that before and amazon refuse to ship to ebay's location with the "reference item number." So what I did was ship to my home and ship to ebay location. (Still profit 25 dollars).. But how did you manage to ship to ebay location? Did you erase the reference item number?
5) What are the prices of the item you usually look for on amazon to sell on ebay? I noticed the more expensive the item the less views it gets, and it's harder to sell than cheaper items.. I see seller's are dropshipping low margins items like crazy and are profiting 2 to 3 dollars each with 100 orders a day (That's like 200/300 dollars a day they are making)... I think I should do the same since I can see better monthly profits; it just time consuming though..

GREAT THREAD BRO...

Hi,
Made my first sale today. How do you cope with Pypal waiting period ?
I had to wait for 21 days before to receive the payment, thus I had to pay the product with MY money.
I won't be able to do that if I have to ship (and pay) 10+ products a day... Any help ?

You can't. You need backup money at first. Paypal holds your funds for 21 days to protects buyers.. If you meet seller's requirement after 90 days and in good standing, you won't get a hold on paypal funds anymore..

Amazon gives free shipping like I explained. You shouldn't ever be paying shipping. To make it easy, I list the item as free shipping because that is a great selling point for buyers on eBay. Please, READ about how eBay works. Almost every question you have asked would have been answered by just reading about how they work. If you don't do that, you will fail. Do yourself a favor and learn before starting this.

GREAT THREAD BRO...

Almost all of this has been stated in the thread already, but I'll be nice and help you out. In the future, I will not do this for others nearly as often.

1. I've bought 400 items in one month from one account and never had an issue... Even if you did have an issue, just make another trial account. It takes 2 minutes. I've never been banned, IP banned or anything like that. What you have heard is rumors from people who have never tried it before.

2. Prices don't really change that much. The only thing that happens is an item going on sale once in a while, which you just gain profit from. If an item all the sudden jumps in price, which is normally from being out of stock, just remove it from eBay. If you were trying to scale this a ton, it might be hard to track. That's just how I do it.

3. You do need proof in case you are audited. I keep a record of all purchases made and all sales made. You already have to do this to determine how much tax to pay based on profit, so making a record of it is just extra work. It is annoying to do, but necessary in case the time comes that the IRS wants to look into your business.

4. You just put the reference number in on the shipping info on Amazon where the name and address go... very straight forward.

5. My prices range from $20 to $300. Minimum profit of $7 per sale is what I do.

Appreciated bro.. Thanks...

As has probably been mentioned if you are a student you can get 6 months free of Amazon prime.

I wouldn't advise using a student account for this. That's similar to a standard prime account and you would probably be banned after a few months with too many orders. Stick with the 30 day trials.

If you are new to ebay you will want to find everything around your house you can sell to get your feedback up and the paypal limits taken off. You will have a tremendously slow start to this program and little nick nacks or dollar store item sales are the easiest way to get your ranking up. You need to be listing hundreds of items and paying for them, for this to be profitable, which can't be done with a new ebay account unless u own a business. Most lose their confidence at this point.

lewy2k, I've been a this for a month or two and I wanted to ask if there was anything special you look for when it comes to items you picked off Amazon. Not trying to copy yours, but I guess I don't know what to look for specifically, besides the fact there are just a few people selling that particular item on ebay. This ends up costing me time since even those are hard to find. Best sellers? Best reviews? Sticking to 1 niche? Less reviews? Off brand? Or do you just list everything you see as you go down the list? Any tips would be helpful.

Also, the extra keywords in your titles; is that still working well for you? I read that since ebay revamped the system best match prefers exactly the item you are selling and if other keywords bring views that don't end up selling you lose rank on the item page.

What do you mean? Why would they be paying?
I meant : how long before you receive your buyer's money on amazon ? Is it possible to use the money you received to buy the products you want to sell to your buyer, or like with ebay and the waiting time imposed by paypal, you have to pay the product with your own money (and make a profit when you finally receive your payment on paypal).
By the way, thanks again for this amazing method.

OP, firt of all thanks for this great guide :) I took action, made few sales but now I want to scale it up :)

Your advise is to "find products that are rare on ebay, but can be found easily on Amazon". But whenever I try to find products to list I see that all the products on Amazon are listed on Ebay as well :( Most of the time there are more than one listing for the same item :( What can I do about that?

And although my Ebay selling limits were lifted (Now I can list 50 items worth $1000 per month :) ), my paypal limits (21 day hold) is still there. Because of this I cannot list items which costs more that $50 -$60 (I don't have money to invest :( )

What will happen if I wait for 21 days and then use the buyers money to buy the item from Amazon. Will they give me negative feedback if they have to wait for about 25 days to receive their items?

Thanks in Advance :)

I just pick random items. I try to stick with good reviewed items and not name brand stuff that can go out of stock quickly. Once again, this has been stated many times throughout the thread, please read it.

I am not sure how much the words in the title matter at this point as you stated, I still do it out of habit but can't really say how much it's helping or not. I have no way to know, I just do it just in case.

You seem to be confused. With this method, you list and sell the item on eBay. Once it sells, you buy it on Amazon and ship it to the eBay buyer. Why would you be receiving money on Amazon??? You are spending money on Amazon. Please read through the thread again if you still don't understand that.

Here is a third case of someone who hasn't read the thread. If you don't take the time to read a thread of a method you are interested in, you will fail. Read it and learn from it. Read ALL OF IT. This has all been answered already.

I'm not doing this to be rude, I'm encouraging people to be proactive and give themselves a chance to succeed.

If you make someone wait that long, yes, you will get negative feedback.
