Hey guys !

So basically topic name explains it all. I want to know if anyone of you is working with Tor and is it really working?

A little side story: a friend of mine started to work in adult company and his duty is to check incoming transactions to determine if it's a fraud cc or not. He says that they see everything about the person who makes a payment [including his cookies, proxies (multiple levels of it), keyboard input and etc.]. So the second question is : can proxy services from BHW market place work against this complicated software and fool them?

Thank you for a detailed answers!

Happy friday,

sorry, i will give a better answer.yes,i worked with Tor before. Do i think it realy works? I think it does but it isn't as anonymous as it used to be. Can proxy services from BHW market place work against this complicated software and fool them?Only a proxy wont be good enough. And if you use a proxy it needs to be a private proxy. If you use a clean browser without cookies from sites you visited with your previous IP, then you should be fine.

Please don't trash the topic with useless posts. I understand that this is lounge but still looking for answer for my work. Thank you in advance.

it`s good, but keep in mind that tor proxys are sandboxed so if the company is aware them, then you instantly raise the red flags

I'm no proxy expert ... but I believe it depends on the proxy. Some HTTP proxies have some type of command that reveals where it's being forwarded from.

As for Tor, I use to use it quite a bit to buy drugs. Mostly pot but sometimes MDMA and Ket.

The way I see it, Tor is as safe as what you are using it for. I eventually learned nobody gave a fuck about pot and stopped using tor to buy it. But I had 1 experience with Tor that taught me it's not very safe.

I ordered MDMA from the farmers market approx 1 month before the FBI raided them. The farmers market did not store any type of logs or information about their buyers. Well, that's not true. You had to give your address to receive. But the second the order was shipped the system auto-deleted all your information from the system. In the case of a raid so customers wouldn't be exposed.

What I found interesting was the FBI sent a letter to my house a couple weeks after the raid.

So they obtained my address either by somehow resurrecting those deleted logs, or through tor. I've never really been sure how they did it. Cause the Farmers Market claimed for years that no logs existed... and I believed them. The reason I believed them is the vendors were the only real people at risk. Not the buyers. In every sting I've seen I've never seen LE ever go after the buyers.

On the other hand, if you're doing some crazy criminal shit like child porn or cyber-terrorism you need to be smart. And jump through chains of proxies all around the world using subverted computers with no logs. And even in those instances people have been traced.

This can be talked about forever in the context you wrote cause you didn't state what you'd be using tor for. AFAIK, if you logon to a site using TOR, the site can very easily tell you're using it. If they have a good enough reason to find out who you are, they will.

Just think about it logically. A hacker would never use tor. So tor is good for what tor is good for (victimless crimes) but anything more than that TOR isn't gonna do a thing. As far as your friend, I'm sure he can track information. But unless he works for the FBI I'm sure there are people spoofing that information and he has no idea who the hell they are.

People on silkroad uses tor for deep web traffic, the government created tor so this isn't safe still.

Tor has been working for my purpose all time, never had a single issue with it. Also worked for things that people on BHW claim is impossible! I'm making $$ from it.

I think Tor will work; but only if you clean all your cookies and cache and restart the browser again before making a transaction!

Cheers!

HONEY!

Interesting answers, any one can suggest good private proxy?
