---- THREAD CLOSED 04/30/2016 ----
I'm making this journey to have something to refer back to plus motivation for myself. I've been doing different commenting strategies with blogs, news sites, etc and it's been working out fairly well. I believe my biggest downfall right now is not picking the right clickbank product to promote for my site.

Anyway moving on, I want to make $50 per day. Not just gross pay either, $50 into my pocket daily. It'll be tough at first because I'm new to a lot of this so the learning curve is really big right now, but I'm up for it.

What I've done so far:
Created a website that looks appealing
Found clickbank products that I think will sell
Wrote original articles for all my products (4 so far)
Commented on news sites to drive traffic to my site (look up meathead1234 clickbank if you're unsure)
Made 1 sale

What I need to do:
Stay consistent with blog commenting - this is number 1 and many people give up way too soon. Minimum 100 comments per day, or 1-2 hours of straight posting.
Create a social media presence, I already have ideas mapped out, just need to implement.
Try different products and style of reviews on said products to see what works best for me.

Stats - (June 22, 2015 -June 24, 2015)
Website sessions: 272
Website Pageviews: 410
Hops: 80
CTR: 29%

I think the end goal is something I can accomplish. The wealth of knowledge on this forum is overwhelming, as well the amount per sale on clickbank seems to be any where from $15 to $25. That means I'll need to make 3-5 sales per day.

Anything else you want to know just ask below. Let the traffic push begin!

Subbed and good luck. I'm curious with blog commenting. Are there any free resources out there to inform of you which blogs have an open comment system as opposed to manual comment approval?

Good luck in your journey OP , Work hard and you will get success soon.

Good luck OP. I'm in the same road. I will start commenting today or tomorrow, and I hope I'll make atleast 1 sale too.

Update to keep the thread going -

Today's Stats:
Website sessions: 52
Hops: 4
CTR %: 7%
Zero Sales

Been struggling like crazy every since I made one sale on Monday. Not entirely sure what's going on, but I guess I'm going to have to really think about it. I know for sure I'm not doing a good key word search, the niche I'm currently in just doesn't seem to be up my alley. I might spend the weekend re working my site, it's seems like a pain in the ass to do, but if it comes down to it I will do. Last night I went ahead and purchased a domain plus hosting in a completely different niche and will start up that site development when it actually works (WP install on the web hoster's end did not go correctly) Hopefully I can use the little experience from this site I'm currently on and apply to there. I could've just picked a crappy niche too, I won't know until I have a lot more experience. I also think I just picked overall bad products for my site to market, high gravity and have been around for a while so the interest might've already died down. So many possibilities right now and it might be a combo of every single one.

I did get my Twitter account rolling, and it's going well so that's a bonus. But that's about all for now

Build a decent reputation on a forum within your niche and after about 15-20 post drop some links in your signature... this will be great long term income. Good luck!

Have you had success with this method? It honestly sounds a lot easier to become a reputable member on forums then constantly scraping the bottom of the barrel for news articles with niche related key words in them. A lot of the time my opinion is completely different from most people's, so I feel as if my posts will stand out if written properly.
good luck op hope you crack it
Thanks a lot!

Are you direct linking?
If by direct linking you mean commenting on news articles with just my clickbank aff. link to the product, no. I've got an actual site with articles on it that promote the product. That's what I link in the article

I would set up google alerts to get the latest articles for commenting! If your lucky you can be the first to comment and get the most traffic!

Good method, aside from commenting on news blog. Are you doing any keyword research to see if the products have search? And are you doing anything to rank them? That will be more passive compare to commenting.

Update for today:

Commented on approx. 100 different articles today. I'll let the approvals from the sites go through and let people find them over the next few hours. I will probably have a stats update later to see if the different kinds of comments I tried today worked out well.

Got in contact with the web hosting company that I'm using and they think they've fixed the problem on my 2nd site, just will take a few hours to fully complete.

Started writing an article in a completely different style to see if it converts better. The product seems really promising. Good price, good free offers, strong affiliate support from vendor and a very nice sales page that isn't 20 miles long.

Later when I get back to my PC my main goal is to start studying keywords and how they work from top to bottom, should be interesting. Will look into forum marketing as well.

It's been a fairly productive day, still motivated to really make this work, just need to get through the learning curve.

Keyword research is next on my to do list, the keyword research I've been doing thus far is minimal and I believe it's the biggest downfall in me having not too much success. And nothing to rank my page yet as SEO is not something I'm not very familiar with. Over time I will become familiar with it all, though.

Good luck on your journey man! You should get into that keyword research though, some really fun stuff and it pays off!

Update -
Completed the new article I was working on and I feel really good about it. The CTR % so far after 2 hours of posting it and one hour of commenting is 30%. So really happy with that, hopefully there will be some sales tonight.

Did a fair amount of key word research and I feel like I've got a good grasp on it.

Other than that I will begin looking for forums tonight, I think forum marketing done properly will be a hit. Will more than likely begin developing my second site, but this time I will be going for an authority type site. I feel it is easier to write content without constantly thinking about if I'm pushing the reader toward the sale in a conversational tone. Adsense plus a few CB offers will be the main monetization there.

Fairly productive day, hopefully there is some reward for it!

Good luck to you on this! Wishing you much success.
Thank you for the kind words!

Yes I agree it is very interesting to see where people's interests lie. And I feel it will pay off, only a matter of time. Thanks!

Interesting journey with detailed reports.
I will be following!

And I wish you all the luck on your journey OP.
