Update -
No Sales these past couple days. I basically re did my first site to hopefully lower bounce rate. It looks a lot more professional now and I'm really happy about it. Traffic has slowed down to my first site because I've been focusing on other things, the whole reason I hope to become an authority site is because commenting every day on news articles is boring as hell. It's something I need to do though.

May i know which latest methods you have done with your site?
Just blog commenting and Facebook groups, nothing crazy

There is a good plugin for WordPress called Reduce Bounce Rate if you haven't heard of it already :) Give it a go!

Just received a $50 bonus from the vendor because I sold a product for them. Pretty happy about that!

Awesome stuff! Must be a good vendor :) wonder what other bonuses they will give you.

I get some of the most ridiculous comment spam. This comment took a turn that I was not prepared for
WTF question mark.png

lol, scrapebox does that from time to time. Can't complain though since it's so hilarious :)
I agree, first time I read it I had to take a double take. Ah well, quick edit, make it look like a real comment from a real person = more credibility on my site

Great work man! Hope you go better and better!

Your method is like meathead1234?

I'm making this journey to have something to refer back to plus motivation for myself. I've been doing different commenting strategies with blogs, news sites, etc and it's been working out fairly well. I believe my biggest downfall right now is not picking the right clickbank product to promote for my site.

Anyway moving on, I want to make $50 per day. Not just gross pay either, $50 into my pocket daily. It'll be tough at first because I'm new to a lot of this so the learning curve is really big right now, but I'm up for it.

What I've done so far:
Created a website that looks appealing
Found clickbank products that I think will sell
Wrote original articles for all my products (4 so far)
Commented on news sites to drive traffic to my site (look up meathead1234 clickbank if you're unsure)
Made 1 sale

What I need to do:
Stay consistent with blog commenting - this is number 1 and many people give up way too soon. Minimum 100 comments per day, or 1-2 hours of straight posting.
Create a social media presence, I already have ideas mapped out, just need to implement.
Try different products and style of reviews on said products to see what works best for me.

Stats - (June 22, 2015 -June 24, 2015)
Website sessions: 272
Website Pageviews: 410
Hops: 80
CTR: 29%

I think the end goal is something I can accomplish. The wealth of knowledge on this forum is overwhelming, as well the amount per sale on clickbank seems to be any where from $15 to $25. That means I'll need to make 3-5 sales per day.

Anything else you want to know just ask below. Let the traffic push begin!

hi Op, you are doing a great job. Just wanted to let you know that there is an alternative to buzzbundle thats called traffic aid pro. I think its about 97 dollars.
You can pick blogs, you can pick even blogs that have high pa and da for seo. Further, you can filter blogs by number of comment it has.

Another factor that might help you in driving more traffic to your site is to use private proxies while commenting. See, these sites are moderated and by submitting same link again and again to these sites might ghost your link, so think about using proxies :)

Also, try to silo your site structure, this will benefit you for seo
Good luck on your journey

Thanks

I've kind of stopped doing meathead's method, I find it boring. I've been heavily researching SEO and using other traffic sources. It is what I started with however if that's what you're getting at. It's what got my feet wet in the IM world so I'll forever be grateful for that.

I will definitely look into traffic aid pro, I can't justify $250 or whatever it is for buzzbundle.

And I normally just use a VPN. I use CyberGhost 5 to mask my IP. I just hit the big yellow button and it changes to a random IP for me lol.

Siloing is something I've apparently been doing accidentally. When I first made my website I did some basic siloing to it because it felt logical to me. My other on site SEO is piss poor right now.

This whole project was just me looking for a start in IM. A shot in the dark, so with that I missed a lot of stuff that could have aided in me making a higher income. But I'm happy with my progress after a month and some change of doing IM.

Good work dude, I'm trying different things and getting some mixed results, I think you should look into pinterest and also start using google alerts more!!

I'm overly ECSTATIC to announce I've reached my end goal with this journey!!!

SIKE. The grind continues. [lol]

I'm using Twitter and Facebook as my main sources of traffic now. Although I should aim to create 10 solid backlinks per day on relevant, high traffic news articles. One time I had over 50 unique sessions from a Washington Post comment.

Well good luck man, there will be bad days haha. Have you looked into a monthly backlink subscription? I am keen to try this myself: http://seolinkcafe.com/services/link-pyramid/

Floopa,

From what I've read, you've began to stray away from Meathead's method in order to conduct SEO. This is not an issue at all and can most definitely complement your journey but I personally believe that Meathead's Method can be used as an excellent backlink strategy to complement your SEO efforts.

I just recently started my journey using Thomas' method but I've read the thread thoroughly and I've read the journey threads of others, if I were you; I would focus on Forum traffic.

I purchased BuzzBundle, it's a pretty good piece of software but I find that it has some trouble finding forum topics. It does very very well with Q&A topics but my primary goal is to reach out to forums.

you could use a site like boardreader . com or you can use linksearching . com to find forums to post on.

Also, if you're looking for the ability to outsource the posting portion of things. I would look into Forum Mongoose, it's a service that Indianbill offers here on BHW. I am in no way affiliated with him but I do believe that he does offer some really great services.

If you post on forums and establish a reputation, you have a platform to go back to in which you are remembered as a reputable member when posting more links or information to. Also, by posting on forums and having your link in your signature, you are essentially creating multitudes of backlinks based primarily off of your signature plus off of whatever else you post regarding your link.

Also, I hope that you are capturing E-Mail opt-ins on your review page and I also recommend that you purchase a HeatMap plugin in order to analyze your visitors. It would help to identify what needs to be revised on your page in order to increase conversions. If you want to add me on Skype, feel free to do so and we can exchange ideas in more detail. The Heat Map plugin that I found is $197 but it tracks clicks, scrolling, "eye movement", and also features a recording of the visitors session on your website. I will be purchasing it when my sites are complete, my sales funnel slightly differs from yours.

This is only my recommendation and my opinion, you seem to be doing pretty well on your journey so far, I just figured I would add my input. Best of luck and continued success on your Journey!

Update -

I completely forgot about this thread. And I have not in any way gave up on it. The last 3 weeks I've been learning so much about CPA, SEO and other stuff that for about a week this project took the back seat.

Currently I'm not doing Meathead's method and only BTB's. If you've read his thread you'll see me comment in there from time to time.

Yesterday's Stats:
Sessions - 640
Hops - 41

CTR - 6%
Zero Sales

So with that terrible CTR % I went ahead and re worked my article. I'm satisfied with it now. The cool thing about all the people clicking through from FB is that it means my lead ins are working. It's nice knowing I have them down as that was something I was really struggling with for a bit. I feel it's definitely possible for me to reach my goal with BTB's method alone.

I plan on re working my other articles throughout the day as well writing more lead ins. A little tip I have for anyone using BTB's method is make sure you block anyone who leaves negative comments on your posts. One person can blow you out of the water and get your domain blacklisted.

I've also built around 5-6 other sites with CPA offers on them. I've only made $10 unfortunately. My only excuse is when I first started the method I didn't even have any affiliation with a single CPA network. There's been a huge learning curve, but it's definitely been worth it. I can say with confidence that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and within a week I should be making some nice change off the method - CPA and CB.

I need to find more products to write articles on to keep my lead ins on FB fresh. Now that I have a bit of a mental template it shouldn't be too hard to accomplish this.

I will definitely try my best to keep this thread updated. I just realized it has over 6000 views which to me is kind of crazy.
