How do I get active followers ??

Im new to twitter and i follow lots of people. I was wondering why every 1k followers i have only about 1 bothers to favorite my tweet.Why is this??

Most of your followers are going to be bots, therefore they can't engage with your tweets.

Promote your twitter, follow trends. Look up the current trending hash tags for the day, week, and month. Tweet things at those hash tags. Follow other people who follow the trends. You will build up an authentic list of followers. That is how I did it.

That's a really good idea. I'm almost ready to scrap my account and start over. My problem is I keep niche-hopping. Guess I need to pick one and stick with it

You do not have to start over, just make your current account look more genuine, and try what I suggested.

It's a general rule that 2 or 3 percent of your targeted followers convert into comments, retweet, shares, favorites etc.

So, maybe your followers are not that targeted, so your experiencing such low conversion rates, but nothing that uncommon.
