Seems like everyday there's someone trying to get one over on me. Reminds me of an old album by Junior Mafia (Backstabbers). Here's today's latest contestant:

and part 2: https://vimeo.com/130925451

Feels like I'm now spending half the day playing detective to weed-out who's legit and who's trying to play me.

Scammers are like viruses, they're constantly mutating.

Unfortunately, spending a significant portion of your time weeding out the dreck is a necessary part of doing business on the Internet.

In my experience most people here are great but, if you're too trusting, you won't be able to find them through the sharks circling for blood. I see too many posts that look like a welcome mat for scammers.

Sounds like the guy was looking to exploit the exploit specialist lol
Come on Dude, why you upset?
Your exploits make you money from weaknesses in systems, a group buy is the same thing.
Not really sure why you are wasting time selling courses if your exploits are making bank.

Anyway, there are ways to protect your content:

Obviously these are paid options and should be no problem for you, there are many alternatives and you should be able to find something that works.

Thanks for the resources...appreciate it. Never thought of going that route but spending $1k to license my stuff is a no-brainer going forward. As for why I offer courses? Well the natural progression of being in IM is to have your own product and its something I've wanted to venture into for the future. So I'm in the transition phase of using the methods that I've created as the backbone to head in that direction (albeit only consulting based).

The words pot, kettle, black spring to mind.
People are always going to share courses/software etc if they can, it might even be in your interest to allow people a group buy option.

Anyway, licensing protection can be expensive and it doesn't mean somebody won't break it and share your content but it should stop most of them.
Software licensing and protection services and DRM might be worth looking into.

I haven't used any of the above products so they aren't recommendations but might help your research.

When you try to sell some "exploit" method you can deal with 3 types of people:

1. Broke, new comers
2. Scamers
3. People who are curious

The others are too busy doing some long-term scalable business so...like the other guys said, it's an assumed posibility and a must-do due-dilligence.

it is the a part of IM we should spend a hajf of the day on descovering scamming and scammers

I don't know what you do, but I have a customer who makes great money selling ethical hacking courses for the CEH. Well, I assume he makes great money because he pays me about $600/week to write his stuff. The cyber security niche is interesting and awesome. It's my favorite area to write in when I can win over a customer.

you realized once the group buy goes down the product will be leaked to every bh forum around right? you should be avoiding all GBs because members will leak your product.

lol at the guy leaving footprints back to his real name when he's ripping people off.. he's a dishonest moron.
