I only want to scrape the top result for each keyword in google. Im looking in the custom harvester, but I can't understand what it means. Any ideas?

Above proxi section u have an option 1000 results per query set it to 1.

In Sbox V1 it defaulted to 10, it just wasn't designed in mind with someone only wanting to Scrape 1 result, although if you modify the ini it will work. However do not modify the ini file, as if you mess something up then nothing will work.
There is a simpler way, just use V2, its better in every way and it was designed with being able to only harvest 1 result. It says beta but its fully stable and ready for production.

I remember trying it the day it got emailed out [V2] and it was crashing, how stable is it now?

I use it daily and 24.7 on auto pilot and its stable. Also the day it got "emailed" out I had been using it for over 2 months and was having no issues with it then nor now. So the crashing was probably not inherent to Scrapebox but more your setup in conjunction with V2. I have nearly 20 machines running Scrapebox and its running perfect on all of them, most of them servers, but a few desktop OS as well. I know there are thousands of users using V2 daily with no issue.s
