Malaysia's war on tourism.

Well one thing is for sure, you give others a different perspective to look at things no matter how far out they may seem.

That kind of thinking should bode well for you in the IM industry and I hope you allow your mind to work in that exact came way when you are twisting methods as that will put money in your pocket.

I'm not even talking about major insane changes, like allowing public gang bangs in the town center. Just minor things that can't even have a negative impact on someone's life and most people wouldn't even notice has changed.

Because of the taboos of many areas, one cannot experience nice things that go well with the geographic layout.

I see where you are at this.

The restrictions and taboos are there for good reasons. For example, of course the Mt Kinabalu has its uniqueness and beauty, but the taboos and cultural rules are there not to actually restrict and/or prevent others from experiencing it but something bad, which the locals believe, would happen if these taboos and cultural rules are not followed. The taboos and cultural rules are part of the area. Take it away and it will never be the same again. Yes, these shall come to pass and forgotten in times to come, but there is no truth to saying that a culture would ruin these kind of places.

People would still go to see the nice mountain, and more would be willing to visit it, if they weren't afraid of being arrested for almost anything.

Well.. respecting and following the local rules won't get you into problems, or worst get you arrested. Being stupid does.

They weren't being stupid, it was just some fun. The tourism minister and the vice cops are the stupid ones since they damaged the reputation of Malaysia. They could have just given each a $250 fine and 20 hours of community service and not deport them.

Dude Nudity does not equal sexuality. One can be more sexual fully clothed than a person that is totally naked. And there is nothing wrong with judging something whether its a company like Apple or a country. If some kind of organisation puts morals above profits they don't really deserve any respect since they don't care about themselves.

its their country. if they don't want you getting naked on their mountain, whether they think its going to bring Godzilla back or not(it ain't my business), don't strip on their sacred mountain. smh
Finally, I thought no one will remember that its their country, so If you don't want to be arrested in foreign country obey their laws...

But the cultures should be changed if they aren't in align with the modern world. There are too many nice geographic regions being ruined by the current majority culture in the area.
WTF??? And who is the judge to say what other people should do or not, who will decide what is good and bad in modern world. who will impose certain behavior or culture to another people??? So, basically, what is good for me should be good for others and if they don't like it I will make them to like it???????

Corporations with profits on the line, should be able to change things to make more money in certain countries. They used to do it decades ago but now it has become "unethical".

Thailand allowing some drugs would be awesome(they are okay with hookers and booze already).

I've never been to Thailand but my cousins wife was born and raised there.

There are 3 things westerners forget when it comes to drugs and certain eastern countries.

The Golden Triangle, The Golden Crescent and Afghanistan.

These are the 3 largest opium producing areas in the world. Burma (part of GT, located north of Thailand) produced 580 metric tonnes of opium in 2010, and the numbers keep climbing year after year. While numbers of drug arrests are going down in Thailand due to their strict laws.

Consider this for a moment. If Thailand or Singapore loosened up their drug laws just a little bit, their streets would be inundated with some of the worlds cheapest heroin, along with drug traffickers exploiting the region, addicts running a muck on the streets, non stop needle exchanges, etc. Burma would shit their opium mess all over that country.

There are definitely bad things I can say. Like, "how can you kill someone over weed when alcohol is far more deadly"? But like my cousins wife said, "it's hard enough to judge your own culture nevermind a culture you've never lived in". -_-

If its regulated like how it is in colorado then there isn't going to be any problems.

infact Thailand, because under the USA regulations, had too cut loose from heroin, and oppium growing, to be able to have trades with Mother US, is inundated with sintetic drugs, even cheapper than the cheapper heroin and even deadliest, since people use it and drive a fucking Bus with 50 people on boards, every day of the week.

Drug business is one of the business of the wealthy of this world

Having fun by defiling what we consider as sacred? Where's the fun in that? The Tourism Minister and cops have to act because they didn't follow rules. Ever heard of public indecency? And as far as I am concerned, those tourists are the ones that damaged their countries reputation.

Our country, our rules. You don't want to follow it in the name of fun, DON'T COME! We don't lose anything. Many others would come. If I come to your house and you told me not to smoke, I'd follow. These tourists were told not to strip but refuse to obey and went on with their antics. They came as tourists and they were treated well but didn't have the decency to follow our rules. They should be taught a lesson; don't mess with other countries rule of law. It's common sense, everyone know that but these tourists let their stupidity rules over their common sense.

Reading your comments makes me think that you're a complete ignorant. Sorry to say that you look more like a troll to me. People have posted reasonable comments here, but you seem to be ignorant of it or maybe just trolling. Go on, no one will stop you. I'll do what I come to do here; learning to make more money!

I dont fill any problem to follow any coutry rule, if I dont like I can leave.

You can't apply American regulations/laws to other countries just like you can't force Americans to build as good cars as the Germans do. Haha

That is why the world is fucked up today because of people like you. We don't make money to oppose everyone and force them to do what we want. We make money to enjoy our lives with the people we love.

If there is no morality and only profits in our world, everyone would be killing each other freely and doing terrible things in the name of "profits" aka money... How does this make us different from animals for example? It doesnt; it actually makes us worse.
