torrentfreak did a decent write up of a handful of vpn services recently - they are all charging for their services, but it really depends what your needs are.

if you're gonna pay for a vpn, look for one that accepts something like paysafe though (no paper trails).

try them and you'll see, i used a few of these not too long ago, so i'd say most of these still work, you just need to switch the VPN passwords daily

VPNGate --- is based on softether vpn. ITs still working. I am getting very good download speeds on the VPN. If you have a VPS, then use it as a softether vpn server. Use the vpngate client (or softether client, both are same) to connect from home / mobile etc. These days digital ocean has 5$ vps, use it to host your very own vpn server !
