Hello everybody, I can?t even as nearly get around it myself, but with your knowledge on internet marking, I surely see some potential. Here is my idea: Make a site like eBay! What?s the problem that today?s sellers are getting at online? Well, as a seller on eBay that just got banned, eBay honestly is kind of a dick. I mean, they do some much as take 10% cut of everything ever, have so called ?buyer protection? that leaves sellers on their own when problems with orders arise. On top of that, they are Restricting / banning people FOR NO APPARENT REASON. People are not making stealth accounts because they like eBay, it?s because they hate eBay but have nowhere else to go so might as well trick them and still make profit anyway. Just google ?ebay banned me? You will find more than enough info on how much people actually hate them. eBay was legit when they first came out, people liked them for the unlimited selling limits, it was as some call it ?the wild west?. Not really any more, most of the sellers, and some huge sellers are leaving daily. That leaves a HUGE gap in the market for a new site like them. How will we do that? Well, it will take some time with building the scripts, and getting at least some promotion if not a lot. But the ultimate way I see fit is fixing all the bugs and stupidity eBay throws on honest sellers, on top of that, lower the monthly fee bill to say ~ 5%? Doing that, and the site looking pretty legit, it will hinder a lot more sellers, huge retailer or small part time sellers, on there. At this point, since only 5% will be deducted and no listing fees or BS of that nature, sellers will most likely put their prices by at least 2 ? 3% lower. As a buyer, he sees that this costs $100 on ebay but the site offers $95 for the exact same thing. There we have another costumer.
eBay can?t crap on honest sellers anymore, they will only stop when they see their losing (sellers/costumers), if people won?t do anything about it, eBay will most likely get even worse as some are foreseeing. This is my plan, I will invest all Time (And some $) to make this work but I can?t ever do it alone. If you guys want to make a new eBay, might as well as start now. Just an idea, who knows, we might be their rival.
