Yea if you play someone else both yall may put up .60 cents which makes $1.20. Now the winner will win $1 and the other .20cents will go to the skillz company. Something like fandeul except you are the one showing your skillz :D

I think its a clever way of gambling by including gaming skills hence skillz. I am gonna download the Pool version and see how it works out.

@OP how much money you made on average and how much you lost ?

This is gambling.

Definition of gambling: "Gambling is the wagering of money or something of material value (referred to as "the stakes") on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money and/or material goods."

So you're saying playing a skill based game against a real opponent is gambling?

So the people who pay to enter bowling tournaments, video game tournaments, the PGA, darts, pool, etc. are all gamblers huh?

Also I should point out Apple STRICTLY prohibits any form of gambling for monetary value on the app store and Skillz has managed to get their platform on dozens of games for real money.

I took a short break through the winter/spring for a trip to Australia and I didn't keep logs before that. I just started mack up May 4th. However from May 4th to today's date I am up roughly $2120

You forgot to teach us how to be good at it :)

If enough people are interested I was thinking of making a more in-depth series of youtube videos showing how to compensate for the varying oil percentages in Strike! and how to maximize profits from the leaderboards. If I could get enough people who would watch it I could make those :)

Nice share op. One question: Will these also work on ipad? I don't have an iphone but i have access to an ipad. I love games and if i can make some money doing it i won't mind at all. Thanks again.

This is awesome. I've invested so much time at mastering certain iOS games, purely out of leisure. Hopefully my skills translate well to these Skillz games. Thanks OP. :)

Yes. I play strictly on my iPad mini. I feel it allows me to see my ball position easier. I actually just ordered the new mini 3 with 4g from verizon about an hour ago so I can play away from home!

No problem! Those were my thoughts exactly. Now i'm at the point where I don't really play any non-Skillz games because it feels like a waste of time to master another iOS game that I won't profit from

Bummer. I played DiamondStrike for almost 4 hours last night, getting pretty good at it, only to realize that cash play isn't available in my area. Before anyone gives this a try, I would suggest making sure cash play is available in your area:

skillz FAQ said:
Skillz cash tournaments are currently available in about 75% of the world, but are not yet enabled in certain countries, as well as the following states: AZ, AK, CT, DE, FL, IL, IA, LA, MD, MT, SC, and SD. If you live in a cash-disabled region, please let us know and we will issue you a full refund immediately.

no... Lol don't make any guides. I think the beauty is that there aren't any out there and it's up to the player to figure it out. I have 100, 80, and 60 mastered pretty much. I am really struggling with 40 and 20 percent though. Can't quite nail those lol.

what is your username on skillz?

I suppose that is a valid point. And yeah 40 and 20 percent are my least favorite. You have minimal room for error due to the stickiness of the lanes. 60 is my shit for sure.

And my username is Leighton
