It changes the Unicode form of the text so it does not looks different in normal eyes but it does looks differrent in some of the Themes. If you need I can Pm you a website that I created and articles does looks a little different.
Also No crawlers can read what you have written so you wont get any traffic from them as they wont be able to index that thing.

beleive me, i could get only 29% uniqueness.
i think you can try whether this works or not by doing this:
put the spinned article on blogger
index it
and check your page using copyscapes free feature.

yes I have tried this and I didnt even worked as like OP posted I just posted the articles and changed them in default settings.
After 10 articles posted I applied for Adsense and got approved in like 2 days.
But none of my articles are indexed in google yet!!

just google this word "qualityreviews3" wordpress blog on top is mine, all the 3 articles on that site are created by this method. All those articles are indexed !!!!

Yes, it gives 100% unique article, and readable for the human eye.
But not for google, and if google doesn't understands what your article is about, it will never get ranked.

You can see above that he could index it, i even did copyscape comparion test, it shows 97% matched. but still it is indexed.
how long it took for you to get approval from google ?
