My way is a legitimate way to suggest you to Instagram directly, if they choose you and put you on the list it can lead to endless profitable opportunities in the future. So what's exactly wrong for requesting a small fee? There's no such thing as a free lunch mate.

Ok. And no I did not just register here for this post. I originally stumbled upon this site when I was researching about affiliate marketing, and I didn't even realise they had instagram related topics initially.

You should offer it free btw to atleast a few people who can confirm whether or not your recommendation will work.. gonna be hard to get people to pay for something with no proof. And I will back you up if it works!

After I get back from holiday (in about two weeks), I will make a more detailed post, including the email, the DM, and the book Instagram have sent me. As well as include what I did with my account which I think led me to being put on the list. I did have a lot of IG friends who were suggested before me so maybe they recommended me, but I'm not sure.

Instagram will decide for themselves to put you on the list whether they like your content and see you as a 'model instagrammer,' this is out of my control. People have offered to pay if they were put on the list which is understandable, however from my POV how can I trust that they would do this?

Then you can't really expect people to pay for this.. I still think you should atleast recommend a few people maybe atleast ten.. Then atleast you can post some sort of success rate.

Good points. Just that it took me about a year, from when I started posting good quality photographs, to make it on to the suggested user list. As well as an investment in time, effort, camera gear etc. So to just give the recommendation at will to loads of random folk on the internet seems a bit silly. Give me two weeks of surfing to think about it! Regards.

Well I pretty much analysed the list for about a year, and I don't think I ever saw a feature page. It would be best if I saw your feed, because they do feature brands/companies that use other peoples photos occasionally.

Edit: Btw, I can pretty much instantaneously tell you if your feed is likely to be featured or not, just from observing the list for about a year now and what they like to see.
