Yes, they sent a little book about the Instagram community to my house. Yes, they give me the option to recommend other users, I don't have the power to physically put users on the list, simply recommend. Instagram run a weekend hashtag project, where they select users photographs taken over the weekend to be featured. I entered my personal photos into these almost every weekend for half a year, so they may have 'noticed' me there. Also, I have a lot of instagram 'friends' that were put on the suggested user list and they may have recommended me also.

I wish I was this smart. I'm not even trying to make lots of money from this, just help some people that take their own photographs out, but if I have the option to recommend users why not use it hey?

Ok, I've responded to your PM. I am gaining more, but not that fast, just naturally. It's my personal photography account so I am not bothered about getting lots of likes etc., I just share my photo's from my travels.

I don't really understand what people see as fishy. I said in my post that I can't guarantee that you will be put on the list. All I can do is recommend you to Instagram, they WILL see your account, and decide from there whether to put you on the list or not.

It's so ironic how people call this 'scam' and 'sh**' when I refrained from breaking Instagram's rules, doing spammy stuff like follow/unfollow, mass liking etc., I used the app in the right way and followed by their guidelines and hence was rewarded by Instagram by being put on their suggested user list. It gives me the option to recommend other uses to Instagram and that's all I'm offering to people on this forum that post their original content. If you think this is a scam then I really do feel for you.
