100K SEO Agency in 4 months

What would be the upfront cost when starting up a SEO company? Recurring cost?

also tools that you prefer to use?

If you want to use my site as a beat test feel free :) Good luck though I tried this 3-4 years ago got as high as $1200 a month but to many Google changes so I stopped.....hope you make it!

If you done this before, and made 100k, then why did you stop?

You have been out of the SEO game for 3 years, things have changed a lot, what's your backlinking approach for the actual SEO part? Also curious why you got out of the marketing game if you were doing so well? But good luck on the goal.

I'm leaving the app industry for a while... and yes things have been going great - why I left SEO?

Personal crap. Called Divorce ;) More powerful than any penguin or Panda. TRUST ME

My goal is to get bigger clients, where link building can be done properly.
So I'm afraid not sure I will tackle PLN just yet.

Got hit by Panda or Penguin (can't remember by then) and then faced a nasty separation with now my lovely ex.
End up having a personal crisis... went to climb Kilimanjaro, changed industry and said bye to SEO for a while. ;) long answer huh

100k in sales or 100k in pure profit? What angle are you going with the leads? hiring few telesales guys, emailing?

Tough question, I'm in Australia so the bloody Goverment takes the world in Tax. I will start with 100K in sales. But the real goal is 10K recurrent per month... will see.

I'm going to start with emailing + webinar + education material = building a proper funnel.
but deals will be closed via phone. For sure.

Interesting journey! Following this thread. This is the route I eventually want to pursue.

Any plans to sell the sites? What type of leads are you pursuing? How will you track lead generation? Will you visit the client? Any contracts?

Bear with my questions here :)

Sell the sites? You mean, lead gen?
No, not at all. I don't agree to the model of rank and sell. May be it can work but not my style.

I'm getting leads in the ecommerce field. I will explain that later on.
I will be using proper funnel systems , ontraport, infusiosoft... clickfunnels... not sure, but this needs to be done with TOOLS. ;)

And No, I will not visit the clients, I live here... [check photo] life is too good to go to any city to try to sell anything in a city.

I think that's what you are referring to. I'd rather find say a doctor in my area and offer him to get a site ranked in google. Then I charge him X for the leads on a per month basis. The offer would be that he's getting really cheap leads and I get recurring revenue each month. Then I'd either sell the site or enjoy the money coming in each month.

Will be interested in your explanation in the ecommerce field.

And I definitely agree. Amazing place that you live in.

People tend to love the idea of lead generation, and selling leads... is like Neverland and living in the world of my little Pony... but the reality is a doctor knows his patients. Getting to speak to a doctor is a bitch, they are busy, there is a gate keeper... always... and then the leads just because I fill a form they are not real LEADS.

For me a lead is not every email I get asking me about app marketing. 85% of those emails will never be customers.
So selling leads sounds nice, but become the person the doctor trusts with his site and SEO... can make you his Social media guy, his web guy, his online reputation guy... etc

So i've been interested in doing this for a while but have been making money in affiliate marketing and working on other projects.

I see you're not going to be meeting up with people in real life which is what I also would not want to do. I am not a salesman nor a hustler so relying and getting clients has always been whats put me off from pursuing this. Therefore, will be following to see how you accumulate leads as I'd really like to know what works for you.

If you ever wanna exchange lead gen tips for seo tips let me know. I've scaled aff sites from a few thousand visitors to half a million per month in months purely with google serps.

Good luck with ecommerce seo, it can be a nightmare.

That's awesome that you were able to hit 100k in 4 months doing seo.

I would love to see how well this thread progresses :)

Are you doing any advertising like ppc / email marketing / sales funnels / telemarketing?

Sales Funnel ? Yes.
Telemarketing ? No
Email Marketing ? Yes - Big time
PPC? Not initially.

Yeah, I agree. A lead has to be more tangible then say a email. And it's all about having a connection with your client. In order for a lead to be "real" it shouldn't be just emails but through phone calls. I know there's ways to measure calls that come from your site.

Thanks for your insight.

Do you think mobile reskin is still profitable ?
