Yes it is possible. But we don't guarantee any success rates with custom lists. In our experience custom lists are horrible as they are not regularly monitored and updated. We only guarantee advertised success rates with our own list called SocialBase provided as a service in the upsell.

I'm not sure what you mean by "bio info". Social bookmarking sites typically don't require (or even allow you to) enter any personal info. All the info needed to create an account and post a bookmark are: username, password, website url, tags, category, website title and website description. Majority of these fields are spinnable, meaning you can make them very varied.

In our experience social bookmarks stick for a solid time, but I'm unable to give you the exact time as we haven't done these kind of tests. Are they safe? I'm not giving any claims here as search engine algorithms change on a daily basis and take into account hundreds of factors. What's safe today could not be tomorrow and vice versa.

I personally prefer Imagetyperz - they're reliable and the price is ok.

Yes, once you create account in the project, you can repost (using a different website/video) url without registering the accounts again.

I got the review copy and I am sorry to say, but this tool is not secure at all.

I used one of my test servers which had only SocialRobot installed, after 7 days, that server got hacked. I decided to left the VPS for couple of days and didn't bother to see what would happen, after 2 days, I found a bunch of Chinese software installed.

Due to security reasons, I won't recommend this program to anyone but rest is upto them.

What you're claiming here is pretty much impossible. Why? Because our software has been screened and it does not contain any viruses or malware. But more importantly it doesn't listen on any ports enabling outside attacks. So nobody is able to connect and affect your computer via SocialRobot. Another point is that SocialRobot doesn't execute any code of the websites (which could contain harmful code) it downloads through its' process.

So, basically there's no way SocialRobot could be the reason your server got hacked. It simply coincides with the timing of installation. Your server would have gotten hacked even if SocialRobot wasn't installed. I suggest you to take a serious look at the security of your server and unless you've got evidence supporting your claims, I'd appreciate if you didn't attack us publicly like this and spread false rumors.

Bought it, it works "ok" as far as actually getting live bookmarks (even using the included 50 Social Base) but one thing I noticed, when verifying deathbycaptcha account details, it verifies details fine but then says the balance is $0.10 when it's actually like $22. And then it's not sending any captchas to DBC according to my DBC interface. None correctly solved, none reported as incorrect. Bug? Feature? User error?

I really like the work flow and GUI of the tool, hoping to figure out the captcha thing which I suspect is related to the poor success rate.

Thanks for the comments. There is actually no known issue with the deathbycaptcha integration. I personally am using Imagetyperz, but I've just tried another deathbycaptcha account and captchas are being sent there fine. Perhaps you could log into deathbycaptcha members area and see if the number of submitted is increasing?

• reporting of bad captchas is now optional (turned off by default, can be turned on in Options/Captcha)
• added copy/paste context menu for Website URL field

You can manually trigger the update process by going into Help / Check For Updates or by restarting SocialRobot.

I am completely aware of how to setup a secured server, never asked you for your two cents on that.

I don't hold any personal grievance with the OP, I am only stating what I have experienced. Further, it's a Windows application, why would you even mention about cPanel and apache?

I you are completely wrong because firstly, it's a windows based application, second, why would I install apache and cPanel on a windows server to run this bot?

I have Captcha Sniper, I tried to use captcha sniper in the captcha settings but it doesn't work, when I click test connection socialrobot freezes. I changed the port to 3456.


EDIT: I get error on deathbycaptcha, it worked on the first go after I installed socialrobot, minutes earlier I had the problem of not sending the captchas and showed 0.10$ balance, now I get connection to server error.

The problem was with GSA Captcha Breaker, I installed it the same day I bought Socialrobot. In GSA Captcha Breaker options it was checked to simulate imagetyperz and deathbycaptcha. Unchecking them made socialrobot to connect successfully to captcha services. Now it shows the correct balance and it connects properly to dbc and imagetyperz.

Hi,

I think I've replied to you via ticket, but just for anyone else that might be having similar issues:

Captcha Sniper integration does work. You need to run CSSE and enable Decaptcher emulation listening on port 3456. Let me know if you need more assistance with that and make you a screenshot.

That being said, Captcha Sniper won't do much good for social bookmarking sites without an assistance of a captcha service as majority of them use either ReCaptcha or SolveMedia and CS can't really solve either of these.

I simply didn't get the notification there was a thread reply here and didn't bother to check the whole thread. a) are we talking WikiRobot or SocialRobot?
