There is no special rules as for doing PPC for different industries. Start with the Keyword Research and proceed accordingly. Better stick to white hat SEO solutions.

Don't PM this guy, he will probably just try and sell you and you are just asking advice. He is asking a lot of people to PM him.

For a directory site you want to start off with some authority backlinking in the form of Press Releases and parasite pages. You are never going to be able to backlink every page created on a directory site without spending a kajillion dollars so you want to start with authority links to the root url.

Then you want to target your category pages with some web 2.0s that are multi page sites using the KWs in the category as part of the URL and naked backlinks inside the content of the Web 2.0s.

That is a start and of course you want to backlink those backlinks with some decent juice after those are in place and indexed.

Don't concern yourself with whether the parasite pages are no or do follow as you are using their authority more so than their link juice attributes at this point.

I've looked around. A lot of the tutorials are prepanda and are a bit out of date. Still with useful information to take parts from.
