Case Study: Testing Parasite pages. Here's the results

Hello guys, this my first case study on BHW testing parasite pages. Let's get to the results:

Storify - Did a page of 500+ word content targeting commercial keyword with 5,400 exact local searches a month.

Ordered 100 blog posts from Fiverr, was a mistake!
A month later built 50 private blog posts from my own network and used SocialAdr for some social love.

Here's the results:


Currently ranking #3 with the main keyword. Around $150 profit so far. Earned my investments back.

Have a few other Storify pages under testing, will update you soon.

Academia.edu - Uploaded a paper with unique content targeting commercial term with 8100 US searches.

Ordered 300 private blog posts from BHW. Spun network.
Added some social love.
Added 50 unique private blog posts from my own network.

Here's the results:


Currently ranking #6 with the main keyword. This one haven't made me any money yet. CTR is horrible.

Followed the similar strategy with Twitter page, Google site, Facebook fan page, Wix, Benzinga. They didn't work out for me. I also tested SAPE links on some of the pages. This also doesn't seem to work as it used to be. Looks like SAPE is slowly dying. I have an account there and most of the sites have become fake ones.

Here's an update of one of my other Storify page:

2900 US searches.
Currently at #22

The only SEO i did was 50 private blog posts dripfeeding over one month. Used lot's of longtail anchors.

This one is potential money maker. 40 clicks 8 sales this month. $25 profit.

I tried benzinga and for some reason I struggled to rank my posts there for any decent keyword.
storify and rebelmouse seem to work better... go figure why

I'm too will be starting my venture into ranking parasite. just a tip OP, you gotta spam harder bro. 5 bucks for 50 post from Fiverr is a rip off. You could have gotten hundreds of thousand and thousands and complete pyramid link built for 5 bucks. Should have contacted those indian seo experts on fiverr. They always over delivery

I find parasites using SEMRush statistics. If the site has lot's of stable or rising ranking positions then it's worth to try.

I noticed web 2.0s that are inner pages are hard to rank, for example FB pages.

FB pages are 100% hit or miss, no matter how good the links are they just simply wont rank sometimes and this seems to happen to most if not all inner page web 2.0s

Subdomain web 2.0s act more like normal domains and are not unpredictable.

This is what I noticed over 3+ months of testing web 2.0s
