Sorry for the delay in getting back to you...we are definitely not going out of business...just had a bit of an issue getting online these past couple of days. Your 20% discount coupon has been sent.

When will this be fixed so that I can order ?

Thanks,
James

This issue was able to be resolved without an updated version of the script. The issue had to do with communication with our server after a version update. We have corrected everything in the back end. I'll shoot you a PM with the discount code as well.

Hi fitnah,

I have PMed you the direct location to the API Key page within the members area.

For current BackJacker customers, please be sure to open a support ticket at http://support.backjacker.com as your questions or issues will get more attention quicker. This thread is for pre-sale questions and to obtain a discount on purchases. I am also happy to answer any questions via PM for current customers and trial users, but again opening a support ticket will be faster in terms of response.

I'm currently also comparing vs the competition mentioned further up this thread. What I like about them though is an unlimited license, i.e. the use is not limited by the amount of sites I have. Do you have a similar option?

Also, could you please explain what is "advanced exit intent redirection"? And maybe some demo/example uses for injecting multiple sites into the back button history of a visitor?

Hi alex.b,

The funny thing about them is if you are solely basing your judgement on what they offer BHW members, they do not offer an unlimited site license. If you look deeper into the product, you did find they had a product launch with an entirely different domain, same product, just different price points and licensing models. Kind of shady if you ask me in that they offer the great members of this forum one price point, and other people an entirely different set of licenses and prices. Anyhow, we do offer an unlimited site developer license, but it is costly. It retails for $500, but our 20% off coupon does apply to it bringing the price point down to $400 for unlimited domains. We do not normally advertise this option as most people find the highest package of BackJacker Ultimate sufficient to their needs.

When it comes to Advanced Exit Intent vs Standard Exit Intent, the redirect is triggered in a different way. As you are probably well aware, with regular exit intent on most sites, if you move your mouse outside of the browsing window, whether it be to your task bar below the browser, to another screen if using multiple monitors, or anywhere above the browsing window where the browser controls are, the redirection would occur due to the supposed "exit intent". While moving the mouse above the browsing window to the browser controls is a good indication of exit intent, it does not always mean someone was going to leave a page. Also if someone were to move their mouse temporarily off one monitor onto another doesn't really mean they planned on leaving the page.

With our Advanced Exit Intent, if someone moves their mouse outside of the browser window it would not trigger the redirect. If someone however did try to click on the Address Bar to enter in a URL, it would trigger the exit intent redirect. The clicking outside of the browser window is what triggers out Advanced Exit Intent redirection. The only real gotcha with this method is that it does not play nice with iframed content like YouTube videos.

In terms of injecting multiple sites into the back button history, if you check out this video, it shows how one can inject multiple URLs into the back button history stack.

I encourage you to take our free trial for a spin and test our plugin to ensure it meets your needs. We have a ton of features that has met the needs of all of our clients and are continually developing it as new feature requests come in.

I was looking for a way to lower my bounce rate and fell into this. It looks promising and I registered for a free trial to test it.
I would like to ask a couple of questions regarding safety.
First of all, how safe it is from google? Has google any way finding out?Should I apply any special settings in order to be safe?
Secondly, is it suspicious for google if your bounce rate suddenly drops from 80-85% to 10-20%? Is there a way to do it more gradually?
Also I would like to ask, if I purchase the 5 site license and drop/sell one of my websites, can I transfer the licence?
Thanks.

Hi nicefor,

Thanks for your interest in our plugin. In terms of safety we have taken just about every measure we could to keep your site safe. With both BackJacker Standard and Ultimate, their is an option you can check which enables bot protection. With this option enabled, if a spider/bot hits your site based on useragent the plugin will not enable itself so no element of it is visible to Googlebot when it hits your site. In addition, our plugin is a single file with the most common file name for any website online so their is really no footprint to our script. With our Ultimate edition, we take the file protection to another level by enabling automatic installation folder name renaming which can be set daily, weekly, monthly, or never. The same hold true for our cookie name.

In terms of bounce rate reduction, it may possibly seem strange to Google if you go from an 80% bounce rate to 20% overnight with no change in your site layout. If you are concerned about this, you can modify our conditional options so that BackJacker only runs for a percentage of website visitors. You can gradually scale the number over time so that your bounce rate gradually improves over a period.

If you purchase the 5 site license, you can add and drop sites from within our members area. License are non-transferable.

Please let me know if I can be of further help while you are on your trial.

Thanks a lot for your answers. I already saw some of the features you told me. I managed to make it work and will test it these days I'll let you know if I have any trouble. Looking good so far!

Thanks for the demo video and elaborate explanation, that cleared up a lot of questions I had. As for the licensing of a certain other provider, I have to agree on all levels, which is why I started looking for alternatives in the first place. Glad I came across yours. I'll give the free trial a try though if the plugin is as good as the support, then I'll have nothing to worry about ;) I'll start small and will upgrade to unlimited as needed. Feel free to shoot me the 20% discount code, please!

One last thing, from the sites that you have used this plugin on for a couple of months, did your rankings stay stable and/or increased? Or did you get some sites penalized? I'm wondering because about a year ago I tried a similar code (was some simple jquery stuff I found on stackoverflow, upon back button it would redirect users to homepage), but a few days later my site lost the majority of it's rankings. Since then I haven't touched these kind of plugins anymore though I have obviously no idea if it was related to that code or coincidental. Hence I'd be interested to hear about the experience of others because my 1 site is nowhere near statistical significance.

Can I find a tutorial somewhere on how to use the pool of links? If I put 1 link manually and 1 final link it should do these 2 redirects right? ->to the pool link and the final link. If I put 0 to pool links does it just do 1 redirect to final link?
