Using Proxies In The Top 5 Browsers

Hi proxygo, I was thinking about the reason behind a problem I facing with using proxies in browsers.
I normally use Chrome for proxies with a proxy switcher addon. I always keep 10-20 proxies in the switcher and always check them at whatismyipaddress.com to make sure they are anonymous and not present in any spam database. I use them mainly for creating multiple accounts at Web 2.0s such as Tumblr or for creating email accounts for registering those Web 2.0s.
I close all tabs and delete cache, cookies etc. (shift+control+del) each and everytime before switching the proxy. I also run it on an anonymous window to be even safer. I test the proxy with whatismyipaddress.com before starting the registration at Web 2.0 to make sure the proxy is working properly. I only use those proxies which I am very confident about.
This works fine for sometime but I have noticed that Tumblr deactivates my newly created blogs during registration itself after I create say 20 different Tumblr accounts using the process. It again works after a day or so. Mail.com and Gmx.com detects it even earlier and blocks after creation of a few emails. Once the block starts, I cannot create any more accounts in browser irrespective of what proxy I use.
But when I change the browser to Firefox etc., everything works again for sometime til the process repeats. So, I was wondering if there is some other footprint directly attached to the browser which many websites can detect? How on earth do they detect that I am the one creating the account when I use proxies in different continents one after the other? I use different email providers etc. and so, there is no footprint there too. There is perhaps a footprint attached directly to the browser. Do you know of any and are there any permanent fixes for this problem?

One advice while using proxies in browsers which I learned the hard way after getting several Web 2.0 accounts banned. Always make sure to use fully anonymous proxies and always use the most popular browsers to reduce footprints. I was using a less popular browser which caused problem with several Web 2.0s and email account providers who caught up my accounts and banned them instantly. Changing the browser to Chrome which is the most popular browser helped in solving the problem as I have not faced such bans since then.
