Just can't understand! 170 posts and ZERO traffic, what wrong?

For some reasons( no money and not native English speaker) I copied expired domain's content to my site, filter them and pick out the good ones, yea, I make sure all these domains all already deindexed, content not spun, all contents I used are nowhere on web, no re-used by else. so I can make sure these "copied" content is usable.

All health niche content.


the question is, I did this project 1 month ago, I added 170 posts on my site, day by day, what I confused is today I checked jetpack site stats-------zero traffic to my site, just 6 pageviews from me........yes, I viewed these page.

my site is already indexed and 103 pages got there in googles cache, so how this happen?

I know, these contents I used may not all target longtails and competition in health niche is like hell, but 170 posts and zero traffic is abnormall right? At least, I thought I can get 10-20 IPs per day, but.....

I really dont know how to keep going with this, my goal is earn $5 a day, but seems no hope with this site?

Could any guys see this post can give some advises, thank you for your time, desperately need all your help!!!!

Since your pages are indexing, it sounds like the keywords you're targeting are too competitive or don't get searched often.

By the way, black text does not look good against a black background.

I can say these " stolen" content quality is good, whats your mean targeting, just because these content are stolen by me, I cant control the keywords targeted, just make sure, content is cool, then I use!

yeah, I thought this too, maybe these content are just too general, and health niche is too competitive? My new site got no reason to rank pages, but 100 indexed pages and no IP still, confused me.

Anyway, if I read your initial post correctly, you said that you're copying posts and posting them on your website verbatim, correct? This could cause problems if you're not spinning them since your posts are now competing with the original sources in the SERPs for the same keywords.

Make sure you actually spin your articles to avoid Google slapping you for duplicate content. In a niche like health you really want to aim at standing out with your content so spinning could do the job? But I'd rather focus on quality posts then just mass posts. Have you considered hiring someone to write the articles for you?

You are right Zwielicht, but is not like your scenario, these content are already de-indexed by google, so you cant find them on Googles cache, this method is doable and many people done this before with no problem, you can search for this method.

Ah, that's what you meant! I misconstrued your original post, sorry about that.

I'm going to go back to what I initially said about the keywords possibly being too competitive. Try checking on your rankings for each keyword along with estimating the competition level for the SERPs to determine whether or not this really is the case, and since you said that the content is on a domain that's part of a PBN, avoid using Google products like Google Webmaster Tools for this (as mentioned here, here, here, and here).

Edit: Ignore that part about PBN's, I had 3 Black Hat World threads open in different tabs and I mixed one of them up with your thread.

yeah, cool, thank you for the direction, though Im not building my PBN, I just wanna earn $5 a day, lol, nevermind, maybe like you said, too competitive, So i will keep doing this for another 1 month, keeping adding content, and see what will happen, thanks bro.

Interesting idea. Hoping somebody pops in with solid direction about what appears to be extended delay in your traffic. Though a worthy question is about the level of competition, and if you need social signals, backlinks, etc... to rank in your niche. It may be premature also to underestimate what kind of G penalty is imposed for the deindexed content. Perhaps other marketers are still using 301's, shorturls, etc... to better cover their footprints. I would also be concerned about G's presence in your workflow as Zwielicht suggested. Watching for updates.

Im a little frustrated now, as a newbie, $5 a day is still seems hard for me, I run into this method and keep doing this more than 1 month, anyway, never giveup.

I dunno whats wrong with this site, maybe like you said, Google has a "hidden" de-indexed site cache, or health niche is too hard to rank for a new site, whatever, I will keep doing for another month to see what will happen, then If still no traffic, I will either buy SEO package or just giveup.

you will only see traffic when you are in the serp, have you done any on-site seo? do some interlinking that will help your content to rank and do send some social signals to your website.

yes, as on-site SEO, I got inter-linking when necessary, and keywords LSI, good structure, all about that. Like you said, maybe I need some SEO work on this site, I will keep doing this, see what I can get 1 month later,

I'm a big content guy, probably larger than most when it comes to that, but 100 ~ pages of indexed content is not huge and I'd be concerned why the other 70 or so pages are not indexed.

Without much information, these are just some generic thoughts that I would apply to your situation.

I think you need to work on your off site SEO (you say the on site is good) and you need to get those other pages indexed. Also, I would be adding the site to GWT and get those other pages indexed as there is something wrong if they are not getting indexed in a short period of time.
