Letter from twitter antispam team

Legal documents need to be served to you. Email is not a medium for this.

Life in jail really sucks mate. Wish you the best of luck OP.

I stop reading here:

Dear (websitename)-

OP, when was the last time someone has send you this email?

Dear @gmail.com or Dear @Yahoo.com

Think about it... If i want to send email to the owner website how i will address it?

Dear website or Dear John Doe?

I rest my case

LOL

I didn't notice that but yeah this is 100% fake, no one uses dear in official notifications.

Yes i was also suspicious of that, but, the thing that is tangling me is when I check the headers of the mail they trace to Twitters ISP

My question is, is that possible to forge?

Why the clowning bro, I am serious here, at bartos...

A quick update on something that I just found out:

They sent me 2 mails to 2 of my gmail accounts

Also, the mails where sent 23 minutes apart.

The first one had:
[h=2]Case# 15407826: Cease (websitename) Unauthorized Activity on Twitter Immediately[/h]and the other one had
[h=2]Case# 15406913: Cease (websitename) Unauthorized Activity on Twitter Immediately[/h]

If you pay attention to the Case ID, they are different. Does that mean that this is unreal? Or can they have 2 case ids for the same case (?)

Don't listen to people saying stupid and immature things about dropping the soap. All you've got to do is make sure YOU are the one doing all the bumming in jail and you'll be fine mate.

Maybe a different case for each website? I am on the fence on that email being legit. I mean if you are threatened with legal action. Isn't there supposed to be a lawyers name in there somewhere?

No this is not a "legal action" this is just an email.

Also, the website is the same for both mails, so that is why i was confused when there different "case ids" for each mail.

I think we should do a whip around for you because your off to jail. You can use the money for protection from the bummers. If that doesnt work, you could stock up on lube so it doesnt hurt as much

So there is no threat of jail time? I will just wait for a couple of more months. See if they follow up on your case.

tell twitter to eat a Big Ol D i c k :P, ive been spamming them for years and never once have i got a stupid letter. I knew a guy who was using like 400k of twitter accounts and nonstop spamming making a killing and never got hit with any C&D or letters lol

Yea me too, I have actually also been spamming for 1.5 years to be exact, with mass DM's that is too.
But Twitter reacted once I spammed twitter accounts that does NOT follow me.

You know at 20:th april, twitter made it available to enable to option to get DM:ed by anyone, so 2 days directly after that, I took the liberty and scraped 45 000 and filtered them out
of 46 000 0000 that could be DM:ed by anyone and spammed them

ONLY after that twitter reacted.

But, in the past, I have literally sent millions and millions of DM's to other users without Twitter reacting, but that was because they were following my bot accounts.

by shutting the site off and leaving it off, they will not pursue you further.
relaunch under a new domain (ideally new look as well), register with privacy for additional protection.
consider the existing twitter accounts burned.
start accepting bitcoin payment only.

In email source, if you see:
spf=pass
dkim=pass
[email protected]

Then the emails are from Twitter and if not, they're spoofed and you don't have to worry about it. :)
