Finding the best Long Tail Keywords for my niche

Hi

I have a blog which is in a high competition niche. I am struggling to find best keywords to rank at google easily. Because when i check them at market samurai or google, they are all competitive.

I am really confused. I am sure that there is a way to find a better one.

Can anyone at least find me a one or show me how to make it? I am trying to write the posts according to these keywords and planing to rank with posts.

Need your assistance and help.

You can find long tail keywords using ubersuggest.org and yahoo answer. Also you can use semrush.com to see the easy keywords that your competitor are ranking for.

Your free solution, and one of the best that I have used over the years, is using conversational keywords. They are words that you would use in general conversation about your niche.

Sit down and just write out the things/words you think of when you think of your niche and, if you chose a niche in which you have interest (and you should when you build a site in my opinion), you'll end up with 40 - 50 without a problem at all.

That is part of how I get the ball rolling - if you read this thread (http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...d-research-when-building-authority-sites.html) you'll get some more ideas that won't cost you a dime.

In all honesty, don't rely on the competitive metrix for any of those tools. They are shit and only give you an idea. If you want to see if you can actually rank for a keyword then download Moz bar and go to the top 10 in google and start doing some research to see if you can out rank them.

Although I use keyword tools myself I only use them as a guideline.

Moz bar is free. Basstrackerboats is correct and his article is definitely worth the read.

You should also research your site stats. If Google is sending you people for let's say a couple long tail keywords, this means these terms are already associated with your site in the eyes of Google. So you could just take these and make all possible variants of even longer tails and steadily climb to SERPs with them.

You're now looking to be spoonfed, that is not going to work If you don't know how to do it, hire a freelancer, nobody is going to do the grunt work for you.

Hey, if you go for the longtail you are going to make nothing. Even if you rank 1 in G but there are only 25 searches, combine that with paid CTR, merely investigation and quality of site to conversion based on reviews from the big players etc. Maybe have a new think? Or look at other forms of media to reach consumers in a buying mode. All the best anyway
