Hi There,

For those of you with 60k+ IG followers, how much do you realistically make off of selling shout outs? I have $600 and I'm trying to decide whether to invest it in IG shout outs or FB ads on my Facebook page.

It's a big decision atm so any insight would be greatly appreciated
All the best,
Zach W.

Hell no! unless u know a lot of models....i know a lot of models so it works out for me cause i book them for club events in miami and again it depends on the niche
good example! im in the hip hop music niche, so the model i know are hip hop models...guess who follow them all men, so it works but honestly if not for me having a relationship with them
i wouldn't pay them to shout my page out honestly its not worth the money.

Investing in facebook ads is good ;) but there's a chance that'll spend all your money without making a single penny.
However,if you want to invest in instagram shoutouts , i'd say you have to get some experience with free shoutouts before actually buying them ;) (try to search for people who wants S4S )

bro fb ads is the best method. Make a Landing Page of your cpa offer with auto responder and start your campaign :)

I have experience doing both. For $600 I'd be getting shouted out to 4.8 million followers. I'm just not sure how many followers that would get me and how much I could make selling shout outs at that point. Any ideas?

Could you explain that to me more? I have a website with ads on it. I planned to build a facebook following and post articles to my facebook page (like brobible or celebuzz)

^If I spent 1 grand on promoting my FB page I'd get somewhere around 1500 likes

Invest in IG bot, few proxies and a VPS, keep the rest or other projects.

After Facebook changed their Algorithm rhythm i find spending money on FB is a waste. You have to pay to reach out to your potential reach what a waste. You pay to promote to get likes then you have to pay to boost your posts to get likes on the followers you gained by paying already

I definitely agree with that. That being said, companies like Brobible and Celebuzz are killing it- Once you amass a small following on facebook wouldn't the promotion pay for itself?

How long did it take you to reach 60k? And how long also did it take you to make $600?

Yeah, it worth. But don't buy one shoutout for $600, lol.
Buy more small ones :)

good luck

nice information sir, i just thinking to use fb ads to boost my fan page like. because i just started a cosmetic fan page.
before i have use buy like from my local people, around 10K like, and as you predict, the engagement is very low. but i think it was a good start so for other people that seeing my page would not underestimate my fan page as a new fp.
so what do u suggest for nowadays social media promotion ?
i also do promoting in IG, but now i manually start following other people, some of them follow me back, but the engagement also low, because i just randomly follow people from other IG account.

I don't know anything about facebook, but $600 invested in instagram will bring an account at least 15-20k, IF done correctly.

It depends on your goal, if your goal is to make money on instagram via selling only shoutouts, you're doing it wrong.

Go for Fb! Leave 100$ for instagram bot, proxy & vps. The rest to use on fb ads. But be careful with fb ads. If done wrong u will use your account.

Personally I would go for media buying because thats safer than insta. You can lose a big account by a simple ban.
Learn everthing about media buying. I suggest you go to http://charlesngo.com/start it says its an intro but it made me go to newbie to hero in my way I think about affiliate marketing. Try out mobile offers since they are easier to convert than sale comision

600 bucks for shoutouts seems like a lot. Is that normally what people buy them for?

From what I've seen they're usually $10-100 depending on followers, length of shoutout etc.

Charles is definitely one of the top guys who does ppc for a living.

But other people like Ryan Deiss has helped me gain knowledge on different business models that you can use for affiliate marketing.

If you're going to use FB, be sure to do your research. $600 isn't enough if you're new to the ppc game.
