Digitalpoint is messed up: Amateurs acting like gurus

Hi. My first post on bhw and just wanted to say, that stay away from digitalpoint. There is no freedom of expression. I dont know if they are excessively white hat, but i posted a few comments which pointed to my blackhat inclinations and phew, i was banned..Hopefully this thread wont get me banned.

your fault, for blackhat we have bhw. dont try to mix the things, i even know the persons who download stuff from here and later sale that to dp guys for good amount. so both spaces for IMr and both have their plus and negative.

Every forum has a culture and rules that accompany it. If you want to remain a part of that forum, you have to adopt the culture and follow those rules - the same way that you do here.

I have been a user at DP since 2006 never had issues like the one you describe.. there are people there who behave like kids, but hey, you find them here on BHW too!

Thats true. A lot of the people on DP are also here. so it must be frustrating getting banned.

i frequently visited DP 5-6 years ago for business purposes and i experienced the opposite what's in the title, their senior members acted like amateurs or more than likely it wasn't an act lol, the dumbness, ignorance was overwhelming, but at least their rules weren't this shortsighted
DP was good back then for selling ebooks, since then i was there a handful of times, nowadays it's pretty much useless, you might as well frequent a beauty forum instead of DP, you will learn more about IM there

if i were the owner, i'd just rename the forum to "blind leading blind"

DP is better than WF, but still boring as hell. Their "reputability" system is flawed, and I just find it difficult to want to spend time in the forum in general.

DP was how I found this place. I wanted to have a place I could do business, make some friends and make money. Hard core.

As i mentioned on another thread, pretty much the only thing i use digital point for (although not for a while) is to make a contest thread's when i need a logo made, you just specify what you need and how much your offering then sit back and watch the replies flood in, then choose the logo you like and pay the guy/girl.

I find WF to be an ego stroking place, the guys are just providing a service yet they make themselves seem like gurus.

I remember seeing BHW owner posting a thread in Contest section of Digital point to build a logo for BHW, DP used to be the most popular IM forum like 5-6 years ago, now its BHW. and BTW the idea of Blackhat seo came from DP only, i used to see many blackhat threads on DP even before this forum became popular so i dont know why they will ban you for posting about black hat seo stuff.
