I've been using this technique for a little bit and figured I'd share it. It's quick and easy.

On your ad have a few pictures but the picture on the furthest right is a half picture then put an ARROW icon on it that makes it APPEAR that the users can scroll through a slide show when in reality it takes them right to your site and they can browse the show there. I attached a picture so you can see what I mean.

That last image just has a layer over it with an arrow.

This increased my ad traffic CTR by 20%

*Edit: This is not about ripping people off into fake click traffic. An arrow is a buying signal that when clicked is a sign the customer is already interested.

It works even better if you have the arrow come off the edge picture slightly.

Interesting. Is similar to put a "X" simbol at the corner ;)

No, you do not want to put an X on it. The reason is BUSINESS, what the arrow represents is the USER wanting to learn more. An X is costly mistake that will lead you to losing money on your ads and a high bounce rate. ;)

That's a nice CTA. I wonder how it affects bounce rate tho? I might test it myself.

thats smart, but be careful if Facebook might not like this very much :)

Your bounce rate will be low if you use an arrow. It's a buying signal that when the user clicks it they already have been sold on the subject, make sure the content they click on matches up to the scrolling images and you will be in good shape.

I don't know could be just me but I only saw the picture for what it is 2 girls and an arrow pointing towards them, it didn't entice me to click the picture at all, but then I'm not that familiar with facebook either. You sure this works?

Nicely said. This is a great tip, I never thought of this before :)

That means the ad is working. You would represent the traffic I'm not targeting. The ones who are interested would click, NOT users un interested. Long story short 20% increase in quality traffic is pretty good.

It's a great tip, these little things matter a lot. You're sharing quite a lot recently fxphill and I have one of your threads bookmarked, thanks!

Well, you're right. A ">" simbol can be better than a "X" simbol haha ^^
I'll try someday.
