Regarding Title Tag

One of my friend is having a website, i found some strange activity with the website in search engine. Actually the title tag in the search engine shows a two word descriptions but while surfing in the browser it enlarged to multiple words. May i know is it possible to provide two title tags for a single webpage.

Just to note, Google won't necessarily use the contents of the title tag in the SERPs, even when things are working as expected. The title in the SERPs can be customised to what the user is searching for.

No, You can't use multiple title tag in you webpage

See the og:title (Open Graph). Maybe this is the reason for 2 titles. I still can't understand how this works, but maybe if you are logged off from facebook will see the normal title.

I didn't open facebook at all , but still its showing the two different titles. one in search engine & other in webpage.
