It's not hard man. First thing I did when I got into Clickbank was find 100 products then I manually wrote between 3-60 related keywords for each product. You need to start off with a generic niche list. By doing this I ended up with a list of 884 excellent, broad type keywords. Then I used scrapebox to beef that list up to thousands of long tails ... all directly targeted to Clickbank products.
Once you have a list like that you can do a lot of very common sensical things to narrow the list down. Like I don't target keywords under 3k SM so I eliminate all those. I don't like targeting keywords with more than 10k SM so I eliminate those.
Then it's just a matter of research and basic human psychology. Niches where there is real pain involved (certain health niches) are more likely to convert better than niches where people are seeking pleasure or entertainment (like software). But that's a very generalized statement and the reality is like 90% of niches on Clickbank convert. Like the "how to stop masturbating" niche. I always thought that was 1 niche that would never convert. Thought the product was shit. Then realized it was my inability to sell that was shit. Wrote a better script and suddenly started getting conversions.
It's all the mechanics of conversion you need to look at.
Which keywords have the most pain behind them?
Which have the least amount of competition?
Which have the best salespages?
What type of preference is Google showing for xxx keyword? Videos? Facebook pages? Websites?
What can I do to make my message stronger? To sell better? To seem more credible? etc.
Always take the path of least resistance.
Never target too broad cause that's the #1 mistake noobs make (says right on CB's website).
KNOW your competition. Before I enter any niches I always make sure I know my #1 competitor. If he's got 500 PBN links pointing to his site I'm not competing. If he's got 24 PBN links I'll compete. If he's got spam I'll compete.
It's really just the art of finding vulnerabilities then exploiting them for yourself. 1 huge vulnerability a lot of marketers have is mere impatience. So just by practicing patience, by mastering it, you put yourself ahead of 90% of marketers. A lot of marketers are too lazy to do REAL research and testing. I don't know many CB noobs who would sit down for 14 hours just writing keywords for 100 products. They always tend to find just a small batch of keywords which limits them greatly.
Just get to work man. Work really is the cure for everything. Anxiety, depression, confusion, lack of direction. The less real work you do the more lost you will always feel. And if you notice, Manov doesn't waste a lot of time on these forums. If there's a clear pattern I've noticed about him it's that. He's busy ordering backlinks, posting content and working on his sites. I've seen this dude go from making virtually shit on CB 1 year ago to now almost breaking $1000 / weeks. The guy's not afraid of work. And when he sets his head to something he follows through. These are all the trademarks of a successful marketer. And 1 year from now he'll probably be clearing $1000 days while you're still busy asking for niches. Or while I'm still busy helping people when I should be working more on helping myself.
