See the download/market section. Plenty of talented people selling/giving away bots. i bet most of them will be willing to develop something for you.

I read Paul Gormann's How to Out-Smart Out-Market Out-churn and burn etc book from amazon, and in the book he mentions himself or one of his clients sending a letter with a teabag in it. Not some penny teabag, but a good one. The books was written around 98 I believe, so some parts of the books will be outdated.

Interesting! What was the purpose of the teabag? The same as the dice?

My method involves writing the bad reviews myself and then contacting the companies with a copy of the review. They panic and hire me on the spot.

Yeah.. that's pretty slimy practices man.

On a sidenote, wulf what have you used for your funnel system after acquiring clients?

Are you able to post any screenshots? I of course wouldn't use it or copy it i'm just curious on your approach as 7878's screenshots seem pretty out dated.

I forgot to add that these people already have negative reviews written about them. I only add a new review with calculated SEO to ensure it ranks high and then it's an easy payday.

Perhaps get off your high horse. By doing ORM, do we really ask/care if our clients are being wrongfully accused? I think not. At the end of the day, I do not send out hundreds of correspondences. I carefully choose my clients as do you and I get the client and the pay rather quickly. I forgot to add that these people already have negative reviews written about them. I only add a new review with calculated SEO to ensure it ranks high and then it's an easy payday.

By posting the same thing twice is your post now "calculated SEO to ensure it ranks high" lol

Anyways, going from saying that you 'write the reviews yourself' which sounds plural and indicates you're the only source of the reviews to saying that it's just one review added onto a poorly reviewed business with many negative reviews is a big difference. So you can understanding the judgement.

1. What is your angle when you get the company calling back? Do you tell them you will help get them better reviews on their end, ie "review funnel"?

2. Do you supress reviews in google serps or elsewhere like in google places, yelp, etc?

Interested in ORM but failing to see where the 500$/month value is when you: A. Cant remove existing reviews, and, B: Cant manufacture new reviews unless you help them hand out flyers or push customer incentive on their end.

Really it seems like its 500$ for just review funnel

Good question. This is one of the reasons why you shouldn't be selling 'review funnel' but a full "reputation solution' which include services like 'reviews monitoring and alerts, customer insights, auto generated coupons for those who left reviews (getting return customers), leads generation & more.

At the end of the day, I believe your role as an reputation consultant/manager would be to increase reputation, credibility and customer engagement; You would be offering something similar as what a "PR" person would do in the traditional offline world.

I believe that he or the client sent out the letter with a teabag in it, and said: "I want you to have a tea on me, while you read this offer. "
Edit: Added to the last sentence, the letters they sent out were long, around 2 to 4 long, emphasising the benefits of the offers of the products/services and explaining the services'/products' benefits to the target addressee.

So similar to your dice and else to that manner, Paul Gormann and/or his clients used this teabag in advertising letters. It was supposed to give a better first impression. They received good response rate I believe.

Interesting! What was the purpose of the teabag? The same as the dice?

I like that. You're giving them something of value too!

I'm going to try this for my 3rd mailing.

My 2nd mailing is all ready to go!
11014775_937055852980913_1394411828_n.jpg
110 letters.
I also have another 8 which don't have stamps.

They're all going to get sent out in 1 - 2 weeks when I'm back from my short holiday to Sydney

I'm keeping close look at your journey OP :) I was doing ORM in 2013 for some rich Indian market businesses. Out of 450 mails, I closed 8 leads which was like 2% conversion rate but I never moved ahead as I needed scale up another project. Cold calling gives out much better CR. Which market you're targeting bdw?

Perhaps get off your high horse.

It makes no difference if my clients are being wrongfully accused. I'm still helping them fix their problem, furthermore I'm not creating their problem as you explained that you are.

We are no different. I too help them with their ORM but I'm trying to create volume of sales. I'm here to make as much as I can. I too have sent out hundreds of emails advertising my ORM service with little to no reply. It took me hours and hours. So much wasted time.

Solution:

So what I do is take their current complaint and then copy it to YouTube, ScamBook, and ROR. All 3 rank very high and then the customer is begging me to suppress the results. Now I know this is not popular BUT we are in biz to make as much $$ as possible and this method does work.

I have focused on 3 industries: small hotels (B&B), wedding photographers, and caterers. All 3 are heavily dependent on their online reputations. All 3 get few walk-ins to none.

Well I can see two problems with what you're doing.

1. You're relying on email marketing to make sales. Start sending out actual letters and picking up the phone and I'm sure you will have much more success. You don't need to resort to shady tactics to make a dollar man.

2. I still don't think you get it:

It's not that it's not popular, it's that it's a horrible thing to do to somebody.

By doing this you are hurting these people.. Because as you said "All 3 are heavily dependent on their online reputations". Sure they might already have a reputation problem, but what you are doing is making it FAR worse and you're doing this on purpose for your own monitary gain. How can you even compare that to what I am doing?

There will be a large number of these people who do not do ORM with you and these people are left with the bullshit that you created for them and now that is hurting their business even more. These people rely on their businesses to feed themselves and some of them their children. How very dare you sir.

How would you like it if you were in their situation and somebody did this to you?

I find this method too passive and easy for the business owner to ignore. The reason I joined the forum is to publicize my method which so far, equals success. I want others to also be aware that there are other marketing methods that are equal or more effective than the tea bag in an envelope method.

What I found was 1-2 complaints were quite often buried on page 2 or 3 of Google and the companies not willing to pay my fee ($300).

With me copying the complaint on YouTube and ROR, the complaint is bumped up to page 1 and then I come swooping in to make it all go away. At that point, the business owners are under the gun to react and I'm in the right place at the right time to make a sale.

either way you explain your method, it will always comes back sounding like extortion. you sound like a guy i know actually. It doesnt matter how wrong he is, he will never accept the fact that he really is wrong. Less people like you would help the world become a better place. smh
